    Question about a new phone

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 11:26 PM PDT

Hello, not sure if Is this the correct sub., I'm looking for a new phone, now I'm using my loved Redmi note 6 pro but i think he is near the retirement 😭 so I'm looking for a replacement with limited budget.

    Samsung note 10+ (exynos)

    Samsung S20+

    Xiaomi mi 10t pro

    Xiaomi mi 10.

I can afford one of these phones.

Can you help me to choose the right one for gaming not hardcore but I like new games, I'm biased for Samsung by the dex mode it really help me when I'm in my truck, and Xiaomi not have a display to tv system or at least in not aware about it.

    Thanks in advance

I am really bored, help me find a game which is good and that I could download under a 2gb data limit.

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 02:28 AM PDT

    1. I have 6gb ram Android 10 snapdragon 662 Octa core device.

    2. I really prefer graphics over everything else. And I really hate Idle Games Casual games and games like clash of clans and sports games.

    3. I can also download games in which you can pause and download the remaining data next day.

I have been really looking through Play store But I can't seem to find anything good.

    Thank you

Any of those "chinese browser mmo" in the Playstore? (which are mostly autoplay)

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 11:36 AM PDT

Sorry for the long post, the short version is (I would like to know if there is a game like Mu Online, Wartune, Crystal Saga, Shaiya, WoW that has auto fight to farm, and that you could still earn stuff from previous areas)

I used to play Wartune a lot, but I got dissapointed in the fact that almost daily they make a brand new server (keeping all players in different places, no way to interact unless a "random" server merge happens), I saw that method it is still used (but the games I checked says "the server is full, no more registration open" for all but the newest server), most of this game was automatic, another turndown was the events, the game required you to play in some specifiq times daily to do the events, I would rather weekly or monthly events, something like you get 3 tickets and you can play 3 times a day (any hour you want)

Mu Online is also my cup of tea, grinding for rare drops then RNG to boost your items (ok, I don't really like the RNG part, specially if the item get lost forever if you have bad luck, a "Broken Shard" that boost your next try would be less dissapointing, since you lose the item yet have better odds for the next time, but it doesn't work like that...) I also loved playing a browser game which was the same game, but on browser (2D prerendered backgrounds and characters instead of 3D models), but I don't remember the game, I think it got closed too (maybe it worked with flash)

I would like to play Crystal Saga again to remember old times, but I can't install R2 Launcher in my PC (still I wish there was an Android version)

    Basically I'm looking for:

    • A game that have the option to play itself (for example, if you cleared a dungeon, let your player do it again AFK, so the first time you have to be ready and carefull to clear it, but once you can clear it easily, you can farm/bot it easily, no reason to do that all over again if isn't challenging anymore)
    • No old zones becoming useless (this keeps up with the previous point, no reason to farm already cleared levels if you won't earn something usefull, in Mu Online you could earn Jewels from any mobs in any place, which are used to enhance your equipment, I think higher level zones have more drops, but you can still get them on the first ever zone, I felt that game was slightly sandboxy, I could walk around, do my stuff and still have some profit)
    • Not easy insane numbers (I know I mentioned the "chinese browser mmo", but I hate the way they manage numbers, you start normal, Level 1, 1000HP and 20Strength, enemies yield 100 Gold coins and thats fine, but in zone two you are Level 10, 1.000.000HP and 597.255Strength, enemies yield 125.698 Gold coins, just WTF, this covers the two previous points in every aspect, you are supposed to go from new to new zones to stay fresh, and the worst of it, they don't make them easy to read, I think it was in Wartune where I read that I needed 5689784535487 exp for the next level, yeah sure, glad it had a bar filling with the % otherwise it would be imposible to track, I don't hate that amount of stats being obtainable, they do make the game longer but for some will be repetitive and boring, but if you add those sick number, don't make them obtainable in less than an hour, thats just sick)
    • Coop/Online play (ok, this is kinda "optional", when I'm AFK, I don't care about that feature, but once I play normally, I would like the option to play with friends or something, hell, even clearing dungeons would be easier/fun with allies.)
    • Marketplace (again, optional, remember the Jewel drop I mentioned of Mu Online? well, since they are quite "rare", they are valuable, so you can trade them)

Mu Online fits my needs, specially since they added an AFK/Ingame-bot years ago, the official server is still up and running but sadly, the game is outdated, don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the core of the game, but you know how stuff changes to make it better? Like having game saves instead of keeping a password to load your games? Mu Online needs some UI cleanup (same systems/mechanic but easier access), there are Android games on the playstore (Mu Origin and Mu Origin 2, but... Mu Online stayed the same, why there are two Mu Origin? I don't like that, which one I pick? will they be eventually closed for Mu Origin 3?)

Basically what the title says. I know the note is usually a clue but I've looked everywhere. I thought maybe I had to repair the lighthouse because the note says to build one. That didn't work. I even swam out to the parking garage (I think it's a parking garage). Nothing. Help?!?

Text Roleplaying Games/ Gamebooks / CYOA

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 10:52 AM PDT

Greetings folks, I have recently deleted many games in my phone, so I need some more to fill up my library, what are some good Text RPGs/gamebooks/CYOAs? You know, games like Lone Wolf, Ironheart, or Choice of Robots. Also I don't want games with NSFW or Romance.

Here are the games I've already played that don't need to be suggested: Lone Wolf, Ironheart, Choice of Robots, Magium, the 'Delight Games' Games, After The Storm, Sorcery! Series.

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:32 PM PDT

I'm looking for games amde in the same vein as My Friend Pedro.

A fun shooting game that doesn't require as much grinding in order to advance to the next stage. Or something like Cover fire without the grinding would be nice too.

how do i use my conyroller on a device that doesn't have "sixaxis support"

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 08:12 AM PDT

i have a ps3 controller and it's bluetooth functionality does not work, i have it's charger so i thought to just buy an otg adapter and plug it in my phone, the problem is

it didn't work, the 4 red lights just kept flashing so i looked up on how to use a ps3 controller on android which led me to this app called Sixaxis Enabler

i installed it and now im here, it says "your firmware lacks sixaxis support, service STOPPED" so is there a way to bypass this or is it just impossible for me to use my ps3 controller on this phone?

edit: oops i guess I can't edit the title so it just says 'conyroller' lol

I'm looking for an old idle game about dragons

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 05:57 PM PDT

I played an idle game many years ago where you unlock a new room below, you can buy dragon egg, when the egg hatches a dragon, you can buy kitchen room, movie theater and stuff, and there's a scenario for each type, the dragon can walk around the room, from side to side.

    Edit: LIL' KINGDOM

Any new 4x games out in Master of Orion?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 02:53 AM PDT

Are there any good space empire building games out for Android? I've played Uciana to death and wondering if there's a good similar style game. Anything with exploration, technology, war, etc. Definitely NOT cookie cutter mobile pvp though.

    Thanks.

    Best CCG with quick matches?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 01:15 AM PDT

I really enjoy Gwent, but I noticed that rounds sometimes last 15+ minutes. It's great fun, but I'm looking for a game with shorter matches because I sometimes want to play for a few minutes here and there and not have to commit a large chunk of an hour

    Idle Supermarket Tycoon not working?

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 11:35 PM PDT

this is the first functional problem I've hit with this game, but I'm in Beverly Hills and the only way I can see my money go up is to send trucks back out? according to my stats tab, I'm supposed to be making about 198o per customer, but each customer's income pop-up has a Q at the end. when I close the game for a few minutes, I come back to profit only in the septillions, when my income per minute claims to be about 42.9o. what's wrong? how can I fix this?
