I tried installing .apk but older versions are stopped by the app saying I need to upgrade to latest version or just exit. Latest version of .apk somehow doesn't installs and says "can't be installed" after 100% installation. I can watch events on ohone but I want to watch it on tv in HD. Any suggestions? | Posted: 25 Jul 2021 08:06 AM PDT I recently purchased an Nvidia Shield, primarily to use with my OTA antenna. I'm using live channels app, I'm loving the app but am having issues with the EPG populating. When I go into the guide, some channels are populated, most show "no information". If select a "no information" channel, then it's data seems to download. Is this normal behavior? Having to select the channel in order to see its programming seems to defeat the purpose of having a guide. For reference I'm in Canada. I haven't been able to figure out how this EPG even works. | relatively new smart tv using android 4.4.2 Posted: 25 Jul 2021 04:14 AM PDT I received a tv from a family member yesterday and tried to update the android software to a more recent version, but it says that this is the latest. while the tv is using this version i cannot use many of the streaming apps like Netflix, is there anything i can do to force update(maybe apply a newer apk from an outer source) or should i just use another tvstick? The TV attempts to pair with a Terios T6 Wireless Controller and the M13 Wireless Gamepad but fails to connect with either. I paired the TV with a Nintendo Pro controller, but the controls didn't function as desired. Does anyone know of any Bluetooth gamepads that will work with the Hisense 43A6G? [link] [comments] |

| Google TV Setup Without Remote Posted: 24 Jul 2021 10:00 PM PDT Hi everyone, My fiancé and I just moved, and we previously lost the remote for our Google Chromecast with Google TV dongle. Our new wifi requires us to manually add wireless devices using their MAC addresses, but since our Chromecast is not connected to our wifi (and subsequently our Google home app), we cannot access the settings to find said MAC address. | How to skip forward in CBC Gem Olympic coverage? Posted: 24 Jul 2021 11:28 AM PDT I have a Shield Pro, I'm in Canada, and I'm trying to watch Olympic events from last night in CBC Gem. I can start watching a past event just fine, but it starts from the beginning, and there doesn't seem to be a way to skip forward. I've tried the fast-forward button, moving around with the directional buttons, and using a mouse, and none have worked. I can play & pause, and I can show the playbar, but I can't skip forward. I can skip forward fine on my phone or in a web browser on my laptop - but with both, as soon as I start Chromecasting, it goes back to the start and doesn't let me skip forward. I figure there must be other Canadians in here who have had this problem - has anyone solved it? I don't really want to rewatch the first 5 hours of cycling road race... [link] [comments] |

Under customize services, I chose the services I have, yet it's recommeding movies for services I don't..for example,.movies on peacock , which I never selected I have? | Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:42 AM PDT So I got a X900H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV and have loved it. Except for the NBCSN app. It constantly crashes or gets the audio/video mixed up. I didn't care too much as a hockey fan because NHL is moving away from NBC, but watching the Olympics is brutal. Every other app works great [link] [comments] |
