    Formuler GTV -- Info and Specs

    Recently, Formuler officially launched Android TV 10 for the GTV and to celebrate, we've partnered with them and the mods of r/Formuler to giveaway 3 GTV devices.

    Here's the announcement on r/Formuler.

    It has received glowing reviews within this community and although sometimes little-known, it is highly commended when mentioned.

    Rules

    • Comment on this post to enter. Only top-level comments will be accepted, replies to other comments will not count as entries. That's all you need to do :)

    • The contest will close on the 11th of July, 2021. The comments section will then be locked.

    • Only one entry per person.

    • Accounts must be at least 3 days old as of the 30th of June (when the contest started).

    • The provisional winners will be chosen at random (using reddit raffler) by the mods of r/AndroidTV.

    • You must respond within 3 days of us notifying you that you've won, otherwise your prize may be allocated to someone else.

    • Formuler will not ship prizes to any individual who has previously won one of their contests in 2021.

    • EDIT: For clarification this is an international giveaway -- everyone is eligible to enter.

    Setup Samsung One remote to control Mi Box S 4k

    On my new Q90T Samsung TV I can setup the remote to control Mi Box S 4k. But, I just cannot find the correct model when doing the setup? No matter which Mi box I choose the setup process will not control the box. Suggestions?

    SmartTubeNext broken again?

    I was using it a couple hours ago without issues but now every video i try is just a black screen. Can't select quality, can't press play there's just no video at all. The suggestions and thumbnails and all that work fine, just not the videos themselves.

    I tried rebooting the tv but no luck. The official YouTube app is working fine. App is the latest version (11.46) and was working great but maybe google messed with something again?

    How can I forcefully uninstall preinstalled apps that came with the TV. Such as YouTube, Amazon Alexa, Prime Video etc. I have no access to the uninstall option with these apps. But I want them gone.

    After using the Onn. 4k I blame Google's too-busy interface for my poor Performance on the CCwGTV

    Right off the bat: as a long time Shield user I actually do like the new interface but I do think with all the extra tabs you get with the CCwGTV that it's causing it to slow down. It feels like every time i turn on the CCwGTV there is a good 30 seconds before it's useable. I'm guessing during this time it's refreshing all my recommendations. Others seem to have the same issue.

    After getting the update to the new interface on my Shield i notice no such behavior but chalk that up to the Shield being more powerful.

    I picked up two Onn. 4K boxes for my in-laws place and have been playing around with them. Honestly from a interface standpoint it's just as snappy as my Shield.

    This does give me hope that Google can fix the CCwGTV performance with a software update.

    Random black screen

    For the past week, when watching tv on my Googletv, the screen will go black, the Dolby notification will come up and the show will come back on, it only lasts a moment. It seems to happen on YouTubeTV and HBOMax and Netflix apps. Anyone else having this issue.or know the fix?

    How can I change which Freeview Play channels are displayed on my Home menu?

    I'm in the UK, and would like my Android TV home menu to display HD channels (e.g. 101 BBC One HD, 102 BBC Two HD, 103 ITV HD etc.). How can I swap these channels?

    Right now it displays the SD channels so clicking the links on the home screen is pointless as I'll have to type in the channel number anyway to actually go to the HD version.

    I have a Philips Ambilight 70pus9005/12 70"

    I got my new Android TV - TV today and was wondering if I can add my legal M3U File into the native Channel Streaming Settings. In the VLC App I can use this file already.

    In the Settings, there is VLC as an Option, but I couldn't get it running.

    How to use tv box to only show one page in browser

    Hi, I have a web page that shows restaurant orders. I would like to use some kind of tv box to show my web page on tv and always on boot open browser and show that web page. What kind of tv box I should use and how to maybe hack to show only one web page. Also I'm on tight budget. Thanks

    MI TV 4s remote no longer working

    Hi! We got a MI TV 4s 6 months ago. Today the remote has stopped working. We changed batteries but that didn't help unfortunately. I tried the pairing steps too but no luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!
