- How can I make a Child account an adult account?
- My phone has 32GB in Internal Storage and it appears I have used 99% of it. After deleting an insane amount of things 1 month ago or something like that, it got back to 99%. I have nothing to delete. Any tips?

I live in germany btw. I already tried setting the age of my account to turning 16 the next day (it doesn't let me set the age to 16 immediately) and waited a day but it's still a child account. | Posted: 14 Jul 2021 10:08 AM PDT I'm not so sure this is the right subreddit to ask this but i have a Myria Giant (a romanian brand) tablet from 2018 with a broken digitizer but this isn't the point. I wanted to use it again as a secondary device so i bought a mouse for it because the lower part of the screen is completely unresponsive. I typed the pin password 0000 (i had a simple pin because i didn't plan on using it anymore back then) and it said it's not correct. I tried about 30 other possible passwords and none it working. After that i tried using droidkit but it's based on a subscription, wondershare dr. fone but it needs usb debugging to be activated which isn't. I also tried ADB but i think it also needs usb debugging. Finally i tried to give it a hard reset but here comes the worst part, i can't get it in recovery mode because every button comination i tried makes it boot as usual. I looked on the producer's site but there is no info about factory reset at all and the same is in the instruction manual. Any ideas to what i could do? Forgot to say i don't remember the gmail adress with which i'm connected on it so i can't use android device manager to give it a factory reset [link] [comments] |

| Tablet uses PS4 Controller over OTG but not Xbox One controller Posted: 14 Jul 2021 09:27 AM PDT I have a dragon 102 table and a USB - C OTG cable. The tablet will work with a PS4 Dualshock 4 controller over the OTG cable, will not work with an Xbox One controller over the same connection. I also have a Razer Kishi which I can connect with a USB C extender and will also work. I have tried several Xbox one controllers and none of them seem to work on the tablet. What am I doing wrong? So all the settings of that device like Bluetooth name, hotspot name, hotspot password, schedule blue light filter were all synced on Google. Now I have bought a new mobile recently and synced with my Google account but according to the previous schedule of blue light filter, In my new Device automatically turn on the blue light filter while in my new device the filter doesn't turn on. I Can't find any options to turn off because it's already turned off. I have deleted the device settings backup of the previous device in Google Drive. | Samsung's latest update has destroyed my SD card Posted: 14 Jul 2021 08:27 AM PDT My phone, a Samsung galaxy A20e, can't read the SD card anymore after Android's newest update today, Android 11, and settings tell me there's no SD card in the phone. Same story goes for the SD Card reader I've used in my Windows PC, the PC doesn't detect the device at all. As far as I've researched, all the similar problems I've seen in other topics or this sub talked about them seeing that files were there but not editable, phone showing an error message related to the SD etc... But in this case It's just like the card doesn't exist at all. I've already tried searching for files with the Dr.Fone app on my computer, but it gives no results as it isn't able to detect the SD. I can't remember the exact price but I don't think it was a cheap card nor a scam, as I've seen people mentioning it. In addition to that, the card never showed signs fo malfunctioning and it stopped working the moment I turned on the device right after the Android 11 update, it worked just fine before. Email chat and conference call apps allow me to be untethered from my desk while still doing my job. The downside is getting notifications all throughout the day. I would like to disable at least notifications from my work chat app outside of business hours. Meaning Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 5:00 I'll get all notifications and outside of that range I'll get nothing. Is there any way to configure this on my Galaxy s21 ultra? My question is how easy is to switch phones? I've always bought my phone through the service provider, and had them set up the phone for me. I'm looking at buying the S21 online and hoping it's as easy as moving the SIM card from the old to the new. I'm also concerned that the device might not be compatible with specific service providers. I've heard that different models are made for different service providers. I'm on Metro if that makes a difference. So ultimately, can I buy the S21 Ultra on amazon or something, and just move the SIM and have it work with no problems? Thank you for any advice! | Posted: 14 Jul 2021 07:06 AM PDT Hi. I'm a filthy broke person who has a Samsung Galaxy A72. It, amazingly, has a 90 Hz screen, and this is my first time having one of those. I love it! However, the only problem is that it does, of course, drain the battery faster than if you use 60 Hz, so I would like to turn it off whenever I'm doing anything that doesn't benefit from a higher refresh rate, like watching YouTube or Netflix. Flagship phones can automatically switch between different refresh rates depending on what you're doing, but the A72 doesn't have that luxury, which is strange as it's just a software thing, and I doubt it'd be any difficult to implement it, but that's beside the point. I'm just wondering if there are any apps I can install that have this functionality, and if not, if there's a way I can add a shortcut to change the refresh rate. You cannot add a refresh rate button to the quick settings in the notifications panel, for some reason, and I haven't found any way to add it to my home screen. Is there anything I can do to be able to change from 90 Hz to 60 Hz and back without having to go to Settings → Display → Motion Smoothness every time? [link] [comments] |
| All files gone after July update Posted: 14 Jul 2021 07:03 AM PDT Hi everyone, just updated my Samsung s21 ultra to the July update, and I noticed my files (images, videos, downloaded documents etc) have all vanished. The storage on my phone remains unchanged so I suspect the files are still somewhere here, but no luck finding them. I went through the internal storage, and it displayed pretty much "0 mb" for images, video and audio....but when I clicked into "advanced" storage, it shows the normal storage that I should have for each section (screenshot). | Deleted photos but it didn't free up any storage Posted: 14 Jul 2021 07:01 AM PDT So my phone (one plus 6) notified me that the storage was getting full so I went onto the storage settings and found I had 75gb worth of photos and videos on my phone. So I deleted about 8000 photos and videos from my WhatsApp folders and then removed them all from the 'recently deleted' section, yet my storage is still showing me 75gb worth of images and is still saying my storage is almost full.
