The iPad is connected to my car via Bluetooth, as I prefer a larger screen for navigation, Spotify, and so on. However, when I receive a call on my phone, I cannot answer it, because my car is connected to the iPad. Is there a way to forward a call? Posted: 09 Jul 2021 12:45 PM PDT Phone: Razer Phone 2 OS: Android 9.1112 Been having issues with my Razer Phone 2 running out of space on the internal memory, 64gig model. I had put in a 256 gig sd card that I had pulled out of my camera a while ago, but whenever I tried moving apps to it like discord or messenger, they became so slow as to be unusable. So I thought maybe the issue was the read/write speeds, so I got a faster one (I think it was 100/90 mbs )of the same size, put in, formatted it, and now it says 130 gigs of it are taken up by system? I was quite surprised but I really enjoyed this thing as everything was in my reach. Today I noticed that it is no longer at the bottom, it at the top as usual. Both of our phones seen to have been jCked into...my wife's device gets over 500 notifications that camera is being used by various apps and microphone notifications has been showing up on my phone as being used by various apps. Also my email account password was changed and money was taken from my wife's account . According to Experian my social security # was found on the dark web. What can I do to determine if I have been hacked and if they are trying to take our unemployment or disability checks cause we were dealing with some low life's who were interested in how to break into email and sending sis attacks to spouses phones. | I'm at my wits end and could use some help... Posted: 09 Jul 2021 07:48 AM PDT I have a Galaxy S10 lite and the speaker and mic have some foreign substance in them that I can't identify. The mic seems like it has an actual solid piece blocking its passageway and the audio just seems to have some strange pastey liquid. I've tried emptying the liquid and removing the solid, but it hasn't worked at all. What would be the appropriate thing to do to fix this? Should I remove the phone casing and try to remove it? I have tried a couple of things like putting the phone on ring mode, then changing the ringtone for notifications to 'None'. This solves half the problem, but apps still play sound which is what I'm trying to eliminate. Simplified question = Need silent notifications and other app sounds. | Can I lock an Android phone to one sim card? It's running Android 10 if that matters P.S. | Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:52 AM PDT I had the app picsart and i used it frequently and now all of a sudden i cant find it anywhere on my phone. It somehow uninstalled on its own. Now im trying to redownload it from the appstore but i keep getting the error "app not installed, try again later". I tried getting an apk and see if that would work but that also gave an error "App not installed". Im not sure what caused it but i've tried > Deleting cache and app date of both, the playstore and play services >Rebooted >Changed accounts in playstore >removed account in settings and then re-added it >Dont have private dns settings so that isnt the issue either Also the issue is only with picsart so far i can download and update other apps they are working fine. I've tried looking for a default installation location option in phone and the playstore to see if that changing it will fix it but i couldnt find one. The phone's Lg-g6 btw EDIT: So apparently the phone is regarding the app as prob installed but its not showing anywhere including 3rd party app managers [link] [comments] |
| Disable vertical swiping to close apps Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:14 AM PDT I accidentally updated my phone from Android 8.1 (clean, ASUS) to 9, I couldn't stop downloading it despite automatic updates turned off everywhere (why? this is MY phone!) and now I have many issues I wouldn't have just keeping the old version, like broken minimal brightness (it's too bright), Settings being reached with more effort, uncomfortable vertical swiping to close apps instead of horizontal. But now I want to talk about the last one. Is there an option to change it somewhere? Because it infuriates me so much that I want to install Android 8.1 again. I'd do it already if there was an option to return to previous system like on Windows, but apparently someone thought that the user has to suffer. [link] [comments] |
| How to restore local search? Google App v12 seems to only search the web Posted: 08 Jul 2021 10:10 PM PDT My Google App keeps auto updating to version 12, and now it only searches the web. I can't find how to search my local phone any more. Remember you could swipe down on the home screen, and Google search bar would show that'd search thru Keep notes, Drive, SMS messages, and then if nothing was there you could search the web? Now the only thing it does is search the web! How do I restore local search? I tried installing back to factory version of the app, which works for a day. Then it auto updates again. I've disabled auto update, and it still updates anyway. Surely there must be an Android way to still search thru your phone for files, messages, emails, etc in an Apple Spotlight or In App type of way? I've also tried Sesame app, but it doesn't search things as well as the old swipe-down search. I'm on LG V40 thinQ, Android v9 [link] [comments] |
