| Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:41 PM PDT Hey all. I usually buy a lot of stuff from online sites and it requires me to provide my bank card number. However often when I pay, the website requires me to switch to my bank's app to confirm payment. So I put the Chrome app with the website open to the background, switch to my bank app, confirm my payment and when I switch back to Chrome it just forgets everything, reloads the whole site and my transaction is cancelled. It's the usual android thing that it unloads an app from memory if it's unsued in the background.. but I only left this app alone for like 6 seconds so come on... How to prevent this from happening? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 04:54 PM PDT My phone installed this app called newsbreak by itself, and then while it was installing, the notification sound on my phone was dinging like crazy. I have no idea why it was doing that. Is that normal though? My phone never really did that before when installing an app I don't think. [link] [comments] |

Looking through the file cleanup resources I have about 17GB of actual stuff (music, images, etc), but looking everywhere through the file browser and in cleanup I can't find the missing half of my storage. I've even dug through it in Windows and can't find anything that would be taking up the extra space. Are there some hidden places in the file system that could sit on ~15GB of storage I haven't been able to find? [link] [comments] |

| SM-J530F Bricked / won't turn on Posted: 22 Jun 2021 01:38 PM PDT Hello, I have a Samsung J5 (SM-J530F) that won't turn on. Trying to charge it does nothing. When I plug it into my PC and hold the power button + volume down button for a bit, it shows up as "exynos 7870" in Device Manager. Then if I hold the power button again it turns off(?) and the device disappears. Is there any way to fix this? It doesn't show up in Odin either. [link] [comments] |
| Clone your ENTIRE old phone to new one, ALL data&settings Posted: 22 Jun 2021 01:13 PM PDT Im switching from an android one phone to a Poco X3 Pro, but when a friend of mine received new phone they had this very handy app pre-installed. It was called "switch phone" but you cant download it in the google play store. It was really good because jt didnt just take over all the apps and documents installed but also ALLL the settings. To the point where the homescreen had the same background and the apps were arranged the same way. Is there any chance someone can recommend me an app that copies an old phone to a new one this well? Today when I sat down to take pictures under my good lighting the lines showed up. When I take a picture away from those lights the picture looks fine. Any ideas what might be going on?
