Thing is i want to do it from windows computer. One option would be to buy LDAC transmitter but those are pretty expensive. I have, not used anymore, samsung s8 phone with cracked screen which can stream LDAC. Is there way to turn my old phone into external DAC for my PC? i found some threads and it looks like i cant do that but those were pretty dated and maybe something changed. Posted: 06 Jun 2021 11:47 AM PDT brand new phone, Doogee S88 Plus, the only thing i've done to it is to root it with Magisk, and on wifi everything is fine; but on 4G, it fails every single SSL/TLS check for every website that requires it, both on Chrome and Firefox, and Google Play Store isn't working either (on 4G; wifi is fine), what the heck can cause that? unfortunately i did not check that 4G was working before rooting it, so i can flash stock firmware and check if that fixes everything, but rooting shouldn't do that? any suggestions? and i have tried both "private DNS" automatic and off and cloudflare-dns, doesn't make any difference. i'm in Norway and my 4G provider is Telia (idk if any of that is relevant) [link] [comments] |

I clicked on it and it said "can't connect to your voice mailbox". What kind of nonsense is that? If you read this and are unsure, if you could direct me to somewhere where somebody might knowthe answer, I would appreciate it. | Is there an app that indicates battery levels of individual earbuds? Posted: 06 Jun 2021 12:35 PM PDT I would like to know if there is an app that will show me battery levels of each earbud. Sometimes I use my earbuds and one of my earbuds gives me a verbal intimation for low battery while the other doesn't which apparently means one has higher battery level than the other or if I connect my earbuds the status bar shows the battery level but it is is inaccurate as I've experienced differing battery level on each earbud. Everytime I touch a button, the backlight effect that tells you that you touched that button stays on and doesn't disappear unless you touch something else. I want to know if it's a bug or a special setting or something. My device is an Umidigi Bison 8GB RAM 128 GB I acquired a month ago. The android version is the one that comes pre-installed, no mods or rooting. Android 11. I would add a screenshot but only text posts are allowed and I don't know how to add it otherwise. | Posted: 06 Jun 2021 10:44 AM PDT Hey all, I'm having an odd issue where my phone is showing the correct location if I bring up Google maps, but when I use my phone's hotspot or even get suggested articles they show up for the wrong state. I've tried high accuracy settings but it still is giving issues The biggest issue is that all of my suggestions for chrome shoe up from this other state for local things and is getting pretty annoying. I figured it was a chrome issue but it's doing it with my hotspot too If I do a Google map search on my laptop on hotspot it shows a state 3 states away for example. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

There's too many choices for custom ROMs to pick from tho. I mostly just need my phone for WhatsApp/Telegram/FB messenger/Slack, Spotify, some bank apps, GMail/Calendar/Maps, some productivity apps. Nothing too heavy, but the phone has been struggling to open a google search, for example. And the battery has been wonky, it sometimes dies at 30% out of nowhere. [link] [comments] |

| Bluetooth standoff between smartwatch & earbuds Posted: 06 Jun 2021 09:57 AM PDT Hello guys. I have a Nubia RedMagic 5G, Nubia TWS gaming earphones and a Huawei GT2 smartwatch. I want the smartwatch to be connected at all times and should notify me of calls & messages etc. But I want to only make or pick calls via the buds. I have tried all known tricks & settings in Bluetooth to get them work together to no avail. When both are connected, the three options for output are phone internal speaker, phone loudspeaker and the watch. If I need to constantly use the buds, I have to disconnect the watch which means it won't notify me of calls & other alerts and it won't also sync health data real-time. Any takes? Posted: 06 Jun 2021 09:07 AM PDT So my phone screen got busted, I bought a new one, now I need to decouple some authenticators and get the files on the phone, but the screen is literally unusable. The phone works fine, the screen is just busted. I found plenty of apps that let you screen mirror or whatnot, but I can't seem to figure out how to get any of them to work without access to the phone. I have it set to fingerprint so I CAN unlock it, but navigating anywhere is really not possible. I can download apps to it from my computer, but I can't open them. How do I get into this thing? | Cannot Reboot Phone, Help Needed Urgently. Posted: 06 Jun 2021 08:16 AM PDT I'm trying to boot a phone that has all its buttons in a nonfunctional condition, and I just couldn't find a way to do so. Phones "USB debugging" and "double tap to open screen" options were enabled before its battery run out. Phone is a Sony, but i have no idea about its model name and number (it has double sim card holders and is about 4-5 years old) It also has this little button that is only accessible with a thin stick, which is right next to the sim card holder. When pressed while the phone is not plugged into a power source this button seems to do nothing, when pressed while it's connected it only "reboots" the phone into the power gauge screen and doesn't fully reboot it. I have tried all manner of combinations of plugging / unplugging and button presses, but nothing seems to do the trick. Since the volume button is broken i don't see how this situation could be salvaged via a button press. As a result, i have come to seek some help that might utilize the Command Prompt. I have practically no knowledge of computering, help would be greatly appreciated. | Posted: 06 Jun 2021 07:38 AM PDT I accidentally allowed access to Runtastic which allows it view my Google account info including my contacts. Is there a way I can revoke the access? I already changed my Gmail password after this happened. I tried deleting my Runtastic account but the option is not available and it is exporting my data on the site. What should I do? Kindly help.
