Frostpunk: NetEase Games partners with 11 Bit Studios to release the award-winning title on mobile devices

    Posted: 06 May 2021 06:48 AM PDT

Frostpunk is the first society survival game by 11 Bit Studios that was ever released for the global market. Playing as the leader of the last city on earth, players need to run the city, allocate resources, solve social problems and lead the city through the eternal winter. NetEase Games will enter into a strategic partnership with 11 Bit Studios S.A. to release Frostpunk Mobile. The game intends to perfectly bring this post-apocalypse society survival experience to mobile.

Frostpunk Mobile will let players dive deeper into the post-apocalypse society survival experience. Frostpunk Mobile is also set to add new features such as Rogue-like adventure, Law and Guild, Rare Animal Rescue Station, and character development. It is to be noted that the detailed release timeline of Frostpunk Mobile will be announced later at NetEase Games' Annual Product Launch Event on May 20th, 2021. You can read more about the news here.

Ubisoft's 'The Division' is announced for mobile devices

Ubisoft's 'The Division' is announced for mobile devices

Yes, you read that correctly. Ubisoft has officially announced that Tom Clancy's popular game title on PC and consoles, The Division for mobile platforms is in development. They made this announcement in an update on their website regarding the other Division games and a new title for PC, console and cloud. Now, the Division universe will truly be expanding to a very big player base. With more games to come, there's no stopping to the Division world.

However, the mobile title is not the only thing, Ubisoft has a bunch of very ambitious things planned out in this series, including a Netflix film and a novel. Them working on a game for mobile just shows off how much potential the mobile gaming industry has. Recently we've seen titles like EA's Apex Legends, Battlefield, and Valorant to name a few are either already making their way to mobile or planning to shortly. To know more, you can check here.

[REQUEST] Offline turn-based games that aren't story-heavy or card games

    Posted: 06 May 2021 05:36 AM PDT

Looking for something for my daily commute, and no internet usually in the subway.

I had been playing Slay the Spire, but have pretty well exhausted it. I played tons of its many clones as well, so please no more (damned) card games! =)

Also nothing too story heavy as I am often playing in short spurts.

I have FF Tactics, XCOM, Slay the Spire, Star Traders, Cardinal Quest, lots of real roguelikes (Nethack, Caves, Pathos, CDDA, etc.). Looking for something new.

    I don't mind buying a game.

Also I can't stand on-screen joysticks and action games on mobile. Those controls are awful.

If something ticks most or all of the boxes, please recommend!

Hi all! Neuroscience PhD student here :) This video discusses the association between video games and stress using a biopsychosocial model, describing how it may induce/reduce stress depending on how we perceive stressors in gameplay. For those of you interested, I hope you enjoy it!

Are there some games where a player can easily make games/ levels and play other people's games? Kinda like roblox or happy wheels but being able to make games on android.

Or like the games: the sandbox evolution or The sandbox

Maybe a bit specific but thanks in advance.

[Request] Looking for games that can be stopped anytime

    Posted: 05 May 2021 10:42 PM PDT

Hi everyone, I'm looking for games that can be played in short bursts that can be stopped anytime when my boss calls me or something (so no mulitplayer games).

It should also be fun for longer sessions.

A sense of progress is necessary, so most boardgames are out.

I'm happy to spend money on the game, either IAPs or as an upfront purchase. Budget is no issue if it's a great game.

I have a pretty strong phone (rog 3) so pretty graphics would be a great bonus and preferred.

I'm cool with any and all genres, except gacha as I'm already playing Genshin Impact which fulfills all my criteria.

For other games that already meet these criteria, I already have Dead Cells, and I didn't enjoy This War of Mine (sorry).

    Thank you!

Does anyone know about any RPGs that are like stardew, doesn't need to grind much and pixel or without pixel both are good.

Looking for a new decent "idle" game

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:49 PM PDT

Hey! Looking for some new games to play and I've been out of the scene lately my phone game experience has always been customization, randomization (think roguelike) and idle features. I usually like to have mobile games going in the background while I'm doing other things and pop in once and awhile for some good indepth tuning.

Idk maybe my criteria is too specific, but hit me with what's good! New or old. Thanks fam

    Game like TrackMania on Android?

    Posted: 06 May 2021 12:00 AM PDT

Hey guys, I just recently thought about trackmania and how fun it was years ago. Therefore, I am looking for a game on android that is pretty close to it. I've tried the port, I've tried drastic and dolphin to emulate old trackmania titles, but those versions aren't like the pc version in terms of physics and steering. I tried many racing games on android but I haven't found one that is really that close to Track Mania except for jet car stunts but I dont like this one because of the flying. Any tips? It doesn't have to be 3d. I just want a car racing game with maybe jumps and stuff where you have to beat different medals ghosts to continue.
