| Xiaomi mi box s 4k with soundbar problem Posted: 28 Mar 2021 01:14 AM PDT Hi all. I have a weird problem for a year now. I got mi box s 4k and my soundbar(s) started to act weird. The problem is when I connect mi box to TVs hdmı or soundbars hdmı , my soundbar does not work. Tv does not connect via arc and there is no sound from soundbar. First my 3 year old lg tv and sony soundbar: Mi box to soundbar hdmı, soundbar(arc) to tv(arc) = no sound Second mi box to tv hdmı, soundbar(arc) to tv(arc): no sound Tv remote also cant change volume on soundbar. When I remove mibox , everything works just fine. So I tried the box with my other samsung 2020 tv and lg soundbar. Same issue. Mi box somehow interfere with soundbar and tv connection. Any idea what ım doing wrong. I don't want to use optical cable between soundbar and tv which works with mi box without problem but ı loose dolby vs.. [link] [comments] | ||

| Mapping Samsung TV remote Buttons? Posted: 27 Mar 2021 12:54 PM PDT I have a Samsung TV which included the Samsung One Remote. It is a nice looking remote. But when connected via CEC I cannot control the Android TV volume. So right now I am using the Chromecast with Google TV remote. But I would like to use the Samsung remote. I am able to pair it with the Android TV without any issues. But no buttons on the remote are working. Tried using Button Mapper and tried adding a Custom button. But it doesn't recognize it either. Is there anyway I can edit the key map for this bluetooth device? Thank you! [link] [comments] | ||

| Mi Box s - Lower video quality using external HDD Posted: 27 Mar 2021 10:21 AM PDT Hi guys, as the title says, I'm noticing a difference on video quality when I play the video directly from my TV (connecting an external HDD and using TVs media player) vs. playing the same video from my Mi Box (also connecting the same external HDD and using Kodi), from the Mi Box the quality clearly drops, and the sound sometimes makes like a popping noise.
