- I did a factory reset yesterday because the apps kept crashing. I made sure it was backed up, but apparently, I didn't make sure my screen shots and downloaded photos were backed up because I don't have them and I just lost a ton of pics.

My S10 and S21 both don't auto update. I just have to manually update the apps periodically. It seems hundreds of people have this issue with no solution found. Samsung Pay, Health, Weather, and the Galaxy Store all have these huge banner ads across the top of the screen. It's super tacky and looks awful! | Posted: 24 Mar 2021 11:03 AM PDT In the last week or two I've run into an issue with my Pixel 3a where certain apps load/update very slowly on wifi. If I switch over to mobile data it works fine. When I run a speed test or use other apps the connection seems fine. Other devices are not any slower on Wifi than before. I've tried restarting the router, restarting my phone, forgetting/reconnecting to the wifi network. I haven't tried the phone on a different wifi network to compare. Any thoughts on troubleshooting? This is my only source of income as I make apps for clients on freelancer and as a gift I put the apps on my console (As long as it is not NSFW apps) as this makes my bid on any job more attractive for the clients.This is because I have more than 100000 installs on my account with my published apps with my email address and my package name to avoid any suspensions. So , I contacted google and filed an appeal.One week later, I've got the response from someone called taylor,I thought she was a human at first but I'm pretty sure now that It is a bot.She sent me this email as follows:"After review of your appeal, we're unable to reinstate your developer account.Your Google Play Developer account has been terminated due to multiple violations of the Developer Program Policies by an associated Google Play developer account. We've reviewed and confirmed this association." As I've told you before I have no emails associated with the account except my email and all the apps that I do are a 100% clean and doesn't contain any malicious code as I am the one making them! I contacted "taylor" again telling her that I have no emails associated with my account and the response was automated as follows:"As much as I'd like to help, I'm not able to provide any more detail or a better answer to your question. In our previous email, I made sure to include all the information available to me." I sent her other emails again that this is a miss-undertstanding but no reply after this email which is clearly automated.Now I have more than 4 clients asking where the apps are and one app had more than 5000 installs which make my position even worse. Google need to know how to treat its developers right and give us more details about the termination as I now have many problems with my clients and my only source of income.I also had apps that I created that had more than 50000 installs and had ads revenue that I used which is now gone as well. I really am having a mental breakdown and am having anxiety and my friend has recently died from covid 19 and I cannot take this anymore as google can't tell me more about my account termination.Please guys share this story,We could stop google's monoply if we united together against google and treat us developers better than this attitude. Moreover, If the account terminated was a well known company like voodoo ,Google would have been head over heels to reinstate the account even though this bot had made a mistake on my account as I have no associations on my account.Please guys share this story with other subreddits to stop google monoply against us developers which make the google play store a store with more apps and users than apple store! Ps:I am still having problems with my clients and They want a refund of a part of the money as The contract that I signed with them had the following: "I would put their app on my account forever if it had no NSFW content and to change the package id with the one that I usually use with my apps to avoid any suspensions on the store for the freelancer." On Apple pages I password locked a PDF and then I was able to export it to Google drive and view it after entering the password. Posted: 24 Mar 2021 11:05 AM PDT My ex and I have a child together that I am the sole custodial parent of, and he is abusing the fact that he has the ability to text me by trying to start upsetting/stressful conversations via text at 10pm and taking 10 minutes between messages. He knows it upsets me to leave or ignore such messages at such a late hour and it affects my sleep. He acknowledges this every time. I'm figuring that considering I'm the only one who would potentially need to contact the other parent emergently after the child's bedtime (I.e., in the event we have to go to the ER), I want to just restrict his messages. Simply does not show up :( I realise I didn't have voicemail set up on my phone as I don't really care for it, but since I've started getting a bunch of scam calls I've now set it up. However dialing a number and listening to messages seems terribly antiquated. There appear to be a ton of visual voicemail apps out there, and bunch of websites I've never heard of with sketchy lists of applications that probably paid to be there. | Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:29 AM PDT Hello everyone, Just like maybe some of you in these last days, I am experiencing an issue: some apps don't work, and the message "this app keeps crashing" keeps popping up. I have read that it is because of an issue with the Android System WebView. Now, if I look for it in the apps list in the smartphone, it doesn't show up, and if I look for it in the PlayStore, I can find it, but there is no button at all, neither the "update" one, nor the "install" one. Now, I have a second phone, and even if I couldn't find it in the apps list, when I looked for it in the store the button "update" was available, and so I updated it. | Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:02 AM PDT my phone started to suddently turn off, now I cannot turn it on, it keep in a loop trying to start reseting and reseting again, if I connect it to the charger the phone starts, but if I try to use it while it's not charging the phone will suddently turn off and enter the loop again. Now the amount of time I can use the phone without it being charging is less than a minute. | Posted: 24 Mar 2021 08:45 AM PDT So, ever since like two days ago, I keep getting the message in the title, but not only Google PLay but also other apps like tumblr or an app I use for studying or for editing pics just keep crashing and showing that message. EVEN GMAIL! A weird thing is that, before Tumblr and the app for editing pics began failing, I received a notif from the phone (at different times) that they were using too much battery on the background and needed to be closed. And that had never happened before. I looked online and have already done everything people suggested for this problem: restart, uninstall apps and reinstall them, delete the cache and data... and nothing works. The last resource was: Completely reset your phone to Default/Factory settings. Which would mean to basically delete everything right...?
