Posted: 02 Feb 2021 11:19 AM PST So LG was my logical choice, but with the rumored internal memo that LG is possibly downsizing or selling their phone business, what's left? Honestly MST payment has been my major deciding factor for phones, with Samsung being the obvious (and only iirc) choice. I live where NFC is only very slowly growing, and use the MST payments practically every day. Any advice? Opinions? Options? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Any good old school RTS game for Android that's not P2W? Posted: 01 Feb 2021 10:47 PM PST I'm looking for a RTS game like Age of Empires or Starcraft that's not P2W. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for the game, I can even pay a monthly subscription, but P2W games are stupid. Anyone knows of a good one? [link] [comments] |
How do I get rid of the alarm clock icon in the top right? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 09:48 AM PST I seem to remember this was an issue I solved back when I had a Nexus, but I don't remember how I did it. [link] [comments] |

Only partial data transfer to new phone. Posted: 02 Feb 2021 01:23 PM PST I recently switched from a Galaxy Note 10 to a Ulefone Armor 7E. After completing the setup, I did see all my contacts present on the new phone. However, call and message history were only partial: with calls only showing up to December, and texts until July. Backup to Google Drive in settings doesn't seem to have helped this. This isn't even mentioning photos, music, etc, which haven't transferred at all. I'm sure this is on me for failing some part of the process. Just looking to straighten it out. [link] [comments] |

Audio stuttering when the Codec is AAC Posted: 02 Feb 2021 11:58 AM PST Hello, For few months, I have a problem when I'm reading my music or any other media on my Sony WF-1000XM3, the sound stutters. This morning, I found that this problem occurs only when I choose AAC. When I choose SBC, the audio doesn't stutter. The stuttering happens more frequently when the screen of my OnePlus 7 Pro is on. Do I think that the problem comes from my phone and not from my earbuds... Before diagnostic that, I tried to: - unpair/repair my earbuds - reset factory my earbuds - reset factory my phone But none of them had fix the problem. I thought that Sony WF-1000XM3 supported aptX but in the bluetooth settings on my phone, aptX appears to be unsupported by the earbuds... So I have to choose only between AAC (which is bugging) and SBC (which has a F****** BAD QUALITY). So if someone has a solution to fix that problem, so I could use AAC without the sound stuttering... PS: if there is some errors in my english, sorryyyyy [link] [comments] |
How to I restore photos from the trash in My Files? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 11:48 AM PST I found over 1000 photos from the past 2 years in the trash section of My Files, even though I didn't delete them. When I click on them, it says "Restore this file to open it". How do I restore the files? I want them back, since as I said before, I didn't delete them. All help will be appreciated! Always ask which Browser to use Posted: 02 Feb 2021 10:52 AM PST After a recent Android 10 update on my Galaxy S10e, whenever I open links it opens in a specific browser. I have the ability to change what the "default browser" is but that's not what I want. Instead I would like to be prompted for which browser to open with each and every time I open a link. Prior to the update this prompt always appeared and now it never prompts me and I seem to be unable to regain this feature. [link] [comments] |
Does a downgrade invalidate the warranty? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 04:32 AM PST I am having a strange problem with a galaxy tab s6 lite (sm p610), that is, the s pen (original), does not work well only in a portion of the screen. In the remaining part, the s pen works well, and in the defective part, if I write with my finger, it also works well. The defect it presents is to write in strokes or not precisely where I place the pen, but more to the right or more to the left. I have already tried to reset to factory data, but nothing. Calling assistance, I would have to wait for courier and repair, which can take a long time. Unfortunately, I need the tablet a lot in this period, and therefore I would like to try to downgrade the firmware, since it is the only thing that has changed and the tablet and s pen have never fallen (also because they are only a few months old). Now, however, I wonder if downloading an older official firmware from sammobile and flashing it invalidates the warranty. [link] [comments] |
Phone is making fake calls when connected to Bluetooth Posted: 02 Feb 2021 10:24 AM PST After a recent update, my Note 10+ will begin making a fake "call" anytime it connects to a vehicles bluetooth. I'm not sure what is going on or how to fix this. Any help? [link] [comments] |

"Android System: Sign in to network" - Phone, not SIM Posted: 01 Feb 2021 07:22 PM PST Hello, Samsung S9+ (SM-G965F/DS) with T-Mobile service. Android 10. I am currently abroad (Mexico) and have been for about four months. I am using T-Mobile's international service, which they contract with TelCel. Service was working perfectly until about two days ago. Other info:
According to the SIM card status, all looks normal. "Network: TELCEL; Mobile network state: Connected; Service state: In service; IMS registration status: Not registered; Signal strength: -100 dBm 20 asu; Mobile voice network type: UMTS; Mobile data network type: IWLAN; Roaming: Roaming" What I have attempted...
I don't recall updating, changing, or even downloading anything to mess up settings recently, but not entirely certain. Before I do a factory reset, just checking if I am missing anything. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Any way to access data when the screen is heavily damaged? Posted: 01 Feb 2021 10:45 PM PST The screen was partially lifted and you could see a tiny light between the glass and the phone itself, the screen shows a light beige color of some sort now. I dont think the screen itself is responsive, but it does recieve notifications and calls. The only way i know how to access phone data is by giving it permission on the phone itself. Are there any other ways to do recover its data? Its a sony Xperia ultra. By recommendation i tried a dr.Fone application, but in the steps it requiered to enable a few things on the phone itself, so no luck. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Feb 2021 08:02 AM PST Just an hour ago when I went to Google I got a message saying "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot." I ticked the robot box and everything's okay now but why did I get that message in the first place? Could it possibly mean there's a malware in my phone? I restarted my phone and scanned for malware but there isn't any. Also I'm not using a VPN and I'm using my mobile data (4g). [link] [comments] |

Text size in widget and chrome issue Posted: 02 Feb 2021 07:04 AM PST I had 2 issues with my phone (samsung galaxy s8) this morning that I have tried looking up how to fix but can't find anything. Seems like some setting changed overnight and I can't figure out how to undo them. The text size in my clock widget was smaller than it should be, maybe like half the size. Other text appears to be fine, just the widget text. It is the widget that comes with the s8. At the same time this happened, Chrome started showing only 6 instead of 8 icons in new tabs (I can see the other 2 if I rotate my screen horizontal so they still exist, just aren't showing anymore when the screen is vertical like they did yesterday) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Feb 2021 05:35 AM PST Hey everyone! I don't if you guys know about the magnifying glass or just magnifier widget on the galaxy phones. It's really cool because it let's me do some micro soldering. The zoom and quality is incredible for what it is. I also use just a regular monitor mount that I got for 10 bucks on offer up to hold up my galaxy s9. The question that I have is... Does anyone know how to force the app/widget to remain open the entire time? Simply because it's extremely annoying to have to stop doing the work to turn the app back on. I have it where it will only take a single click but I also have to turn the light on too. So thats two clicks. 😡 I looked all over the internet for a solution, I shouldn't have to buy the magnifying glass app from the app store for it to not have apps. Its already on the phone. It just needs to stay on regardless if it thinks that I'm using it or not. [link] [comments] |
How to disable headphone button voice command Posted: 02 Feb 2021 05:28 AM PST Hi, On my phone (Samsung A7, using android 10), if I'm listening to Audible and press the headphone button (only one button), it activates the Google voice command instead of play/pause. I had to disable Google in order for the button to play/pause. Is there any other solution, preferably in settings and not a third party app? [link] [comments] |
Nine Email: How to clean up the Storage Data ? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 05:26 AM PST Screenshot https://ibb.co/FgPc8XG I have a storage issue with the app. According to my phone (Samsung Note 10+), when I click on Settings > app > storage, cache is negligible, but the Data is 4 GB! I have tried 3 things:
How can I clean properly, or even better, how can I check the installation and data folder for this app? I think there are some temporary files that are never cleaned up. In my file explorer, (Solid Explorer) I have also enabled invisible / hidden folders. [link] [comments] |
