    [REQUEST] Story light RPG

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 09:08 AM PST

I have had a bit of a JRPG itch recently and I was hoping my phone could scratch it, but I don't want to have to slog through an hour of story to get to dungeon crawling and turn based combat. Since I am on a phone, good touch controls are a must. I am going to be playing the game solo, but I will not be offended by leader boards and what not, as long as I am never forced to play with or against other human players.

I would prefer a game with no idling and gacha/character collection. Also, my phone is a Nokia 6.1, so super advanced 3D graphics might lag.

I prefer to try before I buy, but I don't mind paying to play, as long as it is for contents and not consumables.

Joe Dever's Lone Wolf is on huge sale now!

I usually dislike these posts, where someone just drops a Google Play link and gets half a million upvotes with zero effort. I mean, come on, people can just install the AppSales app (not sponsored) and see all the discounts for themselves.

But damn, it's Joe Dever's Lone Wolf we are talking about.

This masterpiece is currently available for $2 only!

Why are you still here? Go grab and play it. Here's the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.reply.forge.lonewolfcomplete

For someone who doesn't know what is all the fuss about, here is a quick review of the game for you:

Joe Dever's Lone Wolf is an award-winning text-based adventure game, written by late Joe Dever, author of the famous "Lone Wolf" gamebook series, set in a dark fantasy world.

We play as a Kai master - a skillful warrior capable of wielding conventional weapons and using magical abilities - on his quest to investigate an enemy attack on a small mining village. The game consists of two phases: first is presented as an interactive non-linear book, which we read page by page and occasionally make important choices, thus defining how the story unfolds further. Some choices require us to perform skill checks by playing a minigame, where success highly depends on our stats and abilities. There is also a map to navigate us to specific sections of the book, as well as shops and forges to manage our equipment.

The second phase begins when we encounter enemies on our way - it takes place in a 3D environment, where we have a limited time frame to perform attacks and use items or special skills, as long as there is enough mana and stamina for them. When time runs out, the enemies start their move and we have to defend or evade their attacks. Each action requires us to tap or swipe the screen at the right moments, thus turning each battle into a test of our precision and reflexes.

The game offers many hours of interesting gameplay by introducing a captivating story, which never gets boring due to constant switching between reading and action segments. Different ways of character generation and development, along with various random events allow to finish the story several times with different alterations and outcomes.

Joe Dever's Lone wolf is sold for $8 without any additional iAPs. It is one of those rare masterpieces which demonstrates how great the mobile gaming can be if done right, and thus is an easy recommendation for anyone fond of high quality games.

    That's right, we have a 75% discount.

If you want to get yourself familiar with Lone Wolf series, here is an amazing app Lone Wolf Saga with all the game books from the first three series included for free. For the final fourth series, check Lone Wolf New Order app, also free.

Thanks to everyone for their attention.

    Rest in Peace, Joe Dever.

    For Sommerlund and Kai!

    Games like Baba Is You?

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 08:46 AM PST

Baba Is You is one of the most interesting and engaging puzzle games I've played in a while, and I'd love to mess around with it on my phone for hours on end whenever I'm bored or waiting for something.

It obviously isn't available on mobile, which is a bummer, so I'm looking for decent, preferably similar alternatives.

    Similar to Ninja Saga?!!

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 07:12 AM PST

    Hello everyone,

(You can skip the first paragraph)
To start, I'm an old gamer, I've played many things on different devices and i don't mind spending too much time looking for a perfect game for my taste which brings me to my question, I've been looking for a game that looks very similar to Ninja saga ( the one that was on Facebook but ended with flash player update ) anyway, they promised a Unity version, but that didn't happen and it's been more than 3 months after the promised date and no mention of it on any platform, so I'm guessing they're not coming back.

So yeah, now I'm looking for a good RPG, turn-based, customizable hero (spells and gear) on mobile or browser or a light version on PC, please I've been looking for a good game free to play or balanced p2w game for a very long time. I would appreciate your suggestions.

    Thank you!

GRID Autosport First Look. To be able to actually control the car and to configure the graphics you need some tweaks, but I think it's really worth it :) The only pain for me is the cockpit view which definitely requires more attention form the developers.

[Request] Looking for sandbox quad based rts with rpg elements.

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 04:27 AM PST

Basically trying to find a Kenshi like game.

Dead world heroes lite could be an example, but without sandbox element.

I am fine with paid or free as long as it's not p2w.

Single player would be the best, but I am fine with multiplayer too, tho I doubt there will be.

I don't want turn based game, I am fine with CDDA type of turn based, but dislike Marvel Strike Force type.

    Thanks for your recommendation.

Help me find an old android game

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 04:15 PM PST

Hi all, I used to to play an android ( or possibly iOS ) game about 5 6 years ago, and this is what I remember It was a 2D cartoonish zombie game. The first mission started with our player crash landing a helicopter with his pilot who sent us to sent us to find some supplies. After we fought zombies in 2D alley type areas with options to go inside some buildings, we return to find our pilot has turned into a zombie which is then our first boss fight. Additional info: Attacking zombies cost stamina as did moving between areas
