Dear Game Devs, stop automatic non-skipable game tutorials. Posted: 06 Feb 2021 05:01 AM PST Seriously, don't auto launch into a tutorial with sound, that I can't turn off, the first time I open your app. Most mobile gaming is played in public places without sound. Most mobile games get uninstalled and reinstalled over and over due to lack of phone space. Games that have non-skipable tutorials are bad enough. But if yours has sound without an immediate way to mute it you're just a bad developer. [link] [comments]

S10 and Game Controller Issues Posted: 06 Feb 2021 05:02 AM PST Hello everyone I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a controller to connect to my Samsung S10 phone running android 11. I have tried an Android controller that works on my TV via cable and bluetooth, a DS4 controller via bluetooth and cable, Ps3 controller via cable and a random generic windows controller via cable. They all connect fine and work in my home screen launcher (nova) but cannot get it to work in any of my games. The Triangle/Y button will work on some controllers but only acts as a back button. I have tried Grid Autosport, Xcom and Dead Cells. Am I doing something incorrectly? Is something remapping my inputs? Does Samsung not support any controller besides their official ones? Any help or insight would be highly appreciated. Edit: After some digging this seems to be a common problem with Android 11. Hope there is a fix or workaround soon. Edit2: So I fixed it. Under accessibility settings, go to installed services and disable the services. All controllers are working now. [link] [comments]

Any idea for new type of pvp mobile game? Want to see your ideas! Posted: 06 Feb 2021 08:42 AM PST Hello everyone! I am mostly PC player and I am fan of Real Time competition. I am with no PC right now I started to look for a real time PVP game on mobile. Unfortunately I haven't found anything fresh. I used to play Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, CCG but got bored by them already in the past. I see that there is a lot of MOBA and Autofight gatcha games (like RAID or autochess games). The former I just can't hold as the experience is much worse then on PC. The latter, despite I like gatcha/collecting mechanics is to boring for me(there is no action element in game). As I like to think out my own games I tried to create rules for new real time pvp mobile type of competition. For now I just came up with some observations. (And I came to conclusion that clash Royale is well designed mobile game). Let's start from that players competing in some pvp game are veryfying their strategy skills and their movement (action/reflex/precision) skills. I think pvp mobile game should be more strategy then action game. I can' imagine to play on my phone and have 200 amp like in starcraft, LoL, CS and be so precise, but easily I can imagine playing chess on my phone. TBH playing chess on phone is easier then in real life(what I mean is that it is easier to move pieces just with one finger). That's why I think that Clash Royale is well made competitive mobile game, as you don't need so many apm, but still you need to be fast, precise enough and have strategy. You don't need PC to take everything from this game(in contrast to moba). So now I am just thinking and trying to imagine some new type of pvp game that would be better to play on phone then on PC. I am curious if you have any ideas? My is below, but first think of yours! idea I have is based on tibia: one has map (arena) made of squares and control few chamions (let's say 3). Each of champions can move once per some time which depend on his speed, and have few 2,3 skills, like fireball/meteor/ some strong melle etc. the game is just to defeat your opponent on arena. Posted: 06 Feb 2021 05:26 AM PST It is what it says, im looking for a game that literally copied afk arena with both ascension/progression (not a star system like idle heroes, need to have the colors too, red for mythic and stuff) and content. I know these games exist i just dont know how to look for them [link] [comments]

Tbh don't have much hope but; Tryna find an old game I played years back. Posted: 06 Feb 2021 01:28 AM PST It was as a Japanese game that was kinda like a clicker one? Or one of those weird evolution games where you either killed or consumed or merge with other creatures or something and fill up a bar to unlock a new level. This one had a girl who, in the first level wore a blackish purple dress and had similar coloured hair, red eyes and had a kitchen knife, next level I think was a chainsaw and she kinda wore something similar to a vintage gothic dress, like the maid outfits crossed with a nun dress or something, next was a scythe, there was a chair thing, another level was a needle she flew around on and there guillotine one too. I know it seems like a pretty dark game but I remember a song from the game and really wanted to check it out but cant find the game I use to find it with, so I think its no longer on play store but I use to be able to find it looking up "Psychopath" and it doesn't show up in my previously installed games so I hope someone out there knows the game and can tell me the actual name or dev or something I can use to find the game? [Request] Gacha games with compelling gameplay and puzzle games? Posted: 05 Feb 2021 04:32 PM PST So, been looking for mobile games for a while and am weirdly picky. I don't like 3D movement using a touchscreen so stuff like Genshin Impact I just don't play on mobile. Most gacha games have the most boring gameplay - the only one I've really liked is Fire Emblem Heroes. I have a penchant for puzzle games as well - I've played all the Layton gmes on mobile, monument valley 1+2, and the Room games. Are there any other puzzle games worth playing (preferably more layton or monument valley style over the room) Genre - Gacha, Puzzle, turn-based Paid or Free - either Single or Multiplayer - either, though if it's a gacha I'd prefer some sort of multiplayer aspect Playable Offline - If puzzle, then I'd prefer it to be playable offline, but overall it doesn't matter [link] [comments] |
