    I have Mi box s for year now. And its not the best through wifi connection but its works fine Im thinking to buy the google tv but its not available in my location through selling my mi box s and buying google tv. What do you think?

    Netflix defaulting to 5.1 on TV

    This has been asked a few time on here but I have yet to find a solution that works.

    I have a Sony XBR65X800H with android TV. Every time I use the Netflix app it defaults the sound to 5.1. If it change it to English original it will default back to 5.1 when the next episode starts. I have tried playing around with the sound setting on the TV but nothing seems to work.

    Any new advise out there to address this issue? TIA

    Nokia 8000 vs. Nvidia Shield TV (Tube)

    Good day,

    I'm considering buying a new streaming device, but I'm seriously in doubt which is the better choice.

    Both: - Remote with Backlight (important!) - Ethernet

    Nokia: - Cheaper (99€ vs 160€) -Android 10 - Old processor?

    Nvidia: - More powerful? - Can control other devices via IR

    I mainly use the box for Streaming Netflix (1080p), as a Plex Player (not server) and for some casual Splitscreen gaming using BT-Gamepads with friends, i.e Mario Kart and similar.

    Any suggestions? Especially if the Nvidia gets an Android 10 update?

    Control Chromecast with Google TV using TV remote?

    Can someone who has a CC with GTV confirm if you can control it with your TV's remote using HDMI CEC? Everywhere I look people are talking about controlling the TV with the CC remote but I like using my TV's remote to control all my equipment. Thanks!

    Hello guys,

    Quick introduction, I'm an Android Developer, most of my experience is based on TV Applications.

    After working on different ATV apps and different STBs for customers I have decided to spend some time building my own ATV Application. I have a strong idea of what kind of app I want to develop, but I would love to hear some opinions.

    So.. I want to build an app to "rule them all", the idea is to implement multiple useful functionalities into a single app, functionalities like: news aggregator, weather, smart home control, tv guide, player (where you can use a stream URL to play something), radio, integration of the analog signal of the TV to the app (This thing might open a lot of cool features). Beside these I still have some on my list, but not for the first version of the app.

    - What is missing from your ATV experience and you would like to have?

    - Do you think that something like this can work?

    - Would you use such an app?

    - Whats your experience in relation with third party apps (Not these from the big guys, like Google, Youtube) ?

    How Can I Control My Android TV From My Win10 Laptop.

    What hub is best for me and my CCwGTV?

    So I recently picked up this beauty and I want to unlock it's full potential. I am currently looking to add these things:.

    Ethernet.
    2 TB External HDD
    Xbox 360 controller adapter (can also use a Dualshock 4 via BT).
    Wireless keyboard and mouse.

    What hub would be the best for my situation?

    Also, what controllers are people using for PS Remote Play? My Dualshock 4 will connect via BT but "is not supported by my device" for remote play (AMD Link works fine).

    Free Services Only Showing

    On the Google tv app I only see Crackle, Tubi, and Pluto even though I don't have them checked on my list of services. Any ideas? I tried clearing data and cache. No luck.
