    Posted: 20 Jan 2021 11:29 AM PST

I remember playing Grind craft on my old phone but now I can't find it. Playing on websites also doesn't usually work even on pc. Where could I be able to play grind craft?

I really like Duel Links but it can only be played with an internet connection. Is there any YGO game that can be played offline?

Any idea when League of Legends Wild Rift is launching globally?

Burnt out with Brawl Stars and LoL: Wild Rift. I want something similar, but different. More info inside.

I think I'm done with action based multiplayer. I have a bad latency and it's not feasible anymore.

Please recommend me a multiplayer game like those only not something twitchy dexterity based but slower and more strategy. And please no card games, not fond of those. I like fantasy and sf setting. Thanks!

My friend and I spent the last couple months and made our very first video game. It's a cute pick up and play arcade game!

I'm looking for the closest thing to Pharaoh.

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 06:29 PM PST

Pretty much as the title states. Theme doesn't have to be ancient Egypt.

But I've always thought the Sierra classic Pharaoh/Cleopatra would make the best phone game. Similar to the Rollercoaster Tycoon port.

Is there anything out there like it? Using a note20.

I'm looking for new asynchronous, cooperative games like Ulala.

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 06:15 PM PST

My friends and I are all relatively busy and have a hard time finding time to play together, but discovered Ulala and played it for the last 13 months until it started to feel like a chore.

Now we're looking for something new to fill in the void. Anyone have any suggestions?

No love for Badlanders? My take after nearly 700 matches

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 04:55 PM PST

So I found this game after searching the store for Escape From Tarkov Mobile. Why has nobody copied one of the most popular, brutal, realistic, rewarding shooters? Tarkov is demanding in every possible way not least of all on your PC so surely there is a market for mobile looter shooter?

So I stumbled upon Badlanders. The few reviews I could find about the Beta testing was "Tarkov rip off". I think it was meant as an insult but having almost set my pc on fire running Tarkov this was exactly what I wanted. Sure enough it was very heavily inspired.

Over the next month or two I snuck around the map trying to loot without being spotted. I got killed by extract campers, I killed extract campers, I killed level 5 geared guys with lvl1 ammo and got lvl5 ammo 1 shot killed while looting bodies. I teamed up with friends and went entire nights getting wrecked costing me fortunes. Then I went evenings where I started broke but was picking up guns from dead players. Guns with the best attachments. Attachments that made me rich in the Auction House

I also spent some hours building guns. SMGs with high penetration or a non-recoil AK. A Sniper Rifle where each bullet cost hundreds. I spent time trying to play the market.

As a Pubg player I gave Metro Royale a chance. But it's so forgiving that it completely lacked the tension, the risk, the reward, the customisation of Badlanders. I didn't build a gun that could 1 shot the heaviest armor or combine the attributes of a rubbish helmet with heavy armor to create a helmet resistant to 1 shot sniper rifles. I just played for one evening and it felt very much like a Battle Royale.

Badlanders is a looter shooter. Some players call for a deathmatch mode or BR mode. Or an indication of how many players are on the map. But this game is inspired by Tarkov and Vigor. The loot is the objective. How you get that loot is up to you.

The game isn't faultless. Some missteps such as the low Western playerbase means most the action is on SEA server. The poor killcam means it has a reputation for hackers when there really are very few. Many hackers are actually desync due to the SEA server or poor kill cams. You get used to recognising what is possible and what isn't.

The community also called loudly for fpp and realistic skins. Netease did bring pvp but limited to 1 fpp only map. Then they made it duos only. Not exactly what people called for. But the response is "the game is in beta testing"

There are other minor missteps. But the only blatant weakness to the game is the lack of coverage and publicity. It means 3 of the servers are kinda 'dead'.

However on a crowded shooter market where Pubg and CoD own the BR scene, Badlanders does something different. Nothing else scratches that Tarkov/Vigor itch on mobile.

It just needs some love. (And Netease to listen to it's community).

Hopefully see you in game. Don't have gear fear!!
