Posted: 05 Jan 2021 01:43 AM PST So I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F) running Android 9 and my power button fell off over a month ago and the phone died for the first time three days ago. It's fully charged now lol but I can't turn it on without the power button and nothing registers when I plug it into my PC, it just charges the phone. I used this software called 'Wondershare Mobiletrans' to back up all my media on the phone, but i didn't realize that was a trial version and now I'm left with a bak file. Is there any way I can get back the photos or videos because I can't afford to pay for the premium ver. and there were a lot of memories in there that I can't afford to lose. Posted: 05 Jan 2021 11:18 AM PST Hey all, So something really creepy just happened while I was using diskdigger on my phone to look for old edits I made on an editing app, and interspersed throughout all of the Spotify album covers and random cached Spotify images, there were selfies and other nice pictures of people who I didn't recognize, nor do I ever remember them ever appearing in my gallery. Could these be caches left over from websites I visited like Facebook, Spotify etc? Or could they be from an app I had installed without me knowing? I don't mind this since it won't restrict me from certain apps, etc., but now that I removed the payment method I can't remove the Country profile with the other person's billing info. So something has happened to my phone, and i have no idea what triggered it, but from time to time, probably caused by this or that input command, I get a notification-like sound interrrupting my music, and then an annoying female text to speech voice reads my time aloud, followed by another notification sound. I have tried literally everything, but this shit just won't go away. I am this close to completely resetting my phone. Could you please help and explain what this is and how do I remove it for good? | Samsung Galaxy A51 wireless charging (via adapter) issue Posted: 05 Jan 2021 10:59 AM PST Hi all, Sorry if this is a dumb question but I bought a wireless charging adapter for my GF's Samsung A51 as she's been looking at my phone (which has it) with envious eyes. The adapter looks like this, which effectively just plugs in to the USB port and then you can tuck the pad in the case. I cannot for the life of me get it to work. The phone charges through USB, the pad works with other devices as does the adapter but not the combination of phone, pad and adapter. When the adapter is on the pad the light comes on to say its providing power but the phone never starts to charge. I'm a bit lost as to what is going wrong.... Please help! [link] [comments] |

I do have his phone password and get on it for random things from time to time but I didn't even touch his phone yesterday evening when I saw him. Both his wallpaper and lock screen were photos of me so why would I change them, lol. Anyway, any clue why his phone would change these on its own? He has a galaxy S10 (I think, it might be an s20?) I use Action Blocks to create shortcuts to Google Assistant Routines. I also use MacroDroid to automate a lot of stuff, and I'd like to auto launch Google Assistant Routines. But MacroDroid (and other automation apps) can only launch apps or a few select predefined shortcuts made by Android (but not shortcuts you've created yourself, like the Action Block shortcut to launch a routine). Or if such an app doesn't exist, is there another way to do what I want? I don't want to use auto input apps because those don't work with the screen off. And I know MacroDroid could technically "speak" the Google Assistant command to launch a routine, but I don't want that either. [link] [comments] |

After that, my phone can't play videos. Chrome, Reddit, Opera Mini. I can play videos on Chrome using the Youtube site, but other than that, it can't. Can someone help me with this? But I found that the app that uses the most battery has a black android as its logo and is just called -5. When I click on open, it directs me to google photos for some reason.
