It recognizes that something is there, but it doesnt load it (it does send a tumbnail file, but doesnt save the actual picture). I recoreded a screenrecording of this, and it saved it normally, but videos arent allowed in this group.. So if anyone wants to see lemme know in comments. [link] [comments] |

| Unable to open documents sent via GroupMe and other apps Posted: 16 Dec 2020 09:17 AM PST I recently upgraded from a LG G7ThinQ to a Google Pixel 5 and since then I haven't been able to open documents (primarily excel) sent to me in GroupMe messages. It worked fine on my old phone and still does on my laptop and iPad, but for whatever reason I haven't been able to on my Pixel 5. Posted: 16 Dec 2020 06:45 AM PST Hi everyone, I am currently having issues with my two devices my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2017, on android 9) and my phone (Samsung A51 on android 10). I have only had my phone for a few months now and recently it has started being very slow when trying to do anything when connected to my Wifi. It can't load the YouTube app or any games that require internet, and even doing a simple Google search is almost impossible. However my tablet which is on the same wifi but has less powerful hardware and an older Os is doing just fine and can load the exact same apps with out issue. I have already tried restarting my phone, clearing the cache/data, and force stopping the YouTube app, making sure my apps are updated and forgetting the Wifi network. And I am at a loss at about what I should try next. Any help is appreciated thank you! TL;DR Phone won't load apps when I'm on my wifi but my tablet which is on an older os and on the same Wifi loads them perfectly fine. [link] [comments] |

However whenever I open a directions link via chrome it stills tries to open maps., if it's disabled it takes me to the settings screen asking me to enable it, no matter what I try to do I cannot change the default to waze. I have a moto e6 on Tracfone wireless, and very randomly, I just won't receive notifications for anywhere up to 20 mins, or until I open the app. I've disabled the battery optimizations for important apps and turned off adaptive battery. As in does it automatically do it as my camera photos only ever seem to sync to Google Photos when I open the app? I have my google account linked to my Android phone and the backup setting is on but it doesn't say anything about backup schedule. I know you can switch your "home country", but only once per year. I live in two countries essentially, and need to be able to download apps from both countries on a regular basis. | Posted: 16 Dec 2020 04:21 AM PST I just bought a new phone and decided to take out the sim card from my old phone LG G6 running Android 8.0.0 - The phone is rooted In the process of taking out the sim card my SD card also needed to be taken out. When i reinserted the SD card i was no longer able to read the contents of it. Note i did not reset the phone or change any software (to my knowledge). I suspect the SD card might have been corrupted. I put the SD card into a SD card adapter and plug it into my PC. I can see all the files and their metadata. Everything seems fine. When i reinsert the SD card i am met by this message: https://i.imgur.com/CIm2Azr.png If pressed this shows up: https://i.imgur.com/ZxmygTy.png I look into the phones security settings and i can see the phone still tries to encrypt the SD card: https://i.imgur.com/RzGvOpN.png I read online that the encryption key should be stored in /data/misc/vold, however no files are present when i look for it: https://i.imgur.com/EjsKAz0.png /// https://i.imgur.com/jqfHYuF.png Does anyone have any idea about what i can do? -Willing to pay good money for a fix. In Youtube music it takes 30 - 60 seconds of a blank screen for my library to appear, and the same amount of time with any other music playing app. Why is this? Did something change in android?
