    Bluetooth adapter compatible with Sony Android X800H?

    Hi,

    I recently bought a Sony X800H android tv. I was to connect my Bose Sounwave (older model without bluetooth) speaker to it.

    Can anyone please advise which Bluetooth receiver for Bose will be compatible with this tv? I bought a esinkin W29-us wireless audio adapter from Amazon but the tv does not detect it.

    Any advice would be really helpful!!

    External HDD attached to Mi Box, FTP server running, but strange permissions.

    Basically I have a Mi Box 3 (latest update) with a 4 TB external USB3 NTFS HDD attached. In Solid Explorer, I am able to have full control of the drive contents. I can read, write, rename, and delete.

    I have tried endless number of FTP server apps, including the one baked into Solid Explorer. In each case, I am able to read, write, and rename files via FTP. But I cannot delete files via FTP.

    What gives?

    If there is a way to run an SMB server on the Mi Box, that would be much more preferable, but I think the issue there lies in the fact that non-rooted devices have to run user-installed apps on ports above 1024, and Windows doesn't do SMB with any port other than 445. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

    Anyone using a BT remote on a Philips TV?

    Hi, does anyone use a BT remote with a Philips TV? (I have the OLED873)

    Right now I'm using its original IR remote but it's too unreliable so I'd like to buy a BT remote to replace it. Do you know if it's possible and if I'll be able to completely replace the IR one?

    Any suggestion on which one to buy? I'm looking at something minimal.

    Turning on The New Chromecast with Google TV on a TCL Roku TV

    I got the new Chromecast with Google TV, and I am using it with my TCL Roku TV. I have programmed the power button, but when I turn the TV on, I have to navigate the Sources on my Roku TV with the Google remote 1st. Is there a way to just Power on into the Google TV home screen?

    A number of reviews mentioned that the new Chromecast worked well for game streaming, but now that I've tested it (Moonlight, Steam Link, Stadia), it seems as though it has approx. 30 ms decoding latency (vs < 7ms for the Shield for example), which is enough to introduce a noticeable amount of lag... Maybe this is why no official Stadia on the device? Anyone have a different experience?

    Hi all, my daughter has a TCL android TV and I'm attempting to side load the Roblox game for her using the latest APK. I can't seem to get it to load it continues to say install failed.

    I've had success with the stadia app but this has got me a bit stuck. The APK I downloaded installs just fine on my android phone. Any suggestions.

    For who does not know ,this App allowed to pin yours subscription YouTube channels on the home screen Android Tv ... you could put countless rows in there.. Unfortunally, the dev has shut down this App

    Hi, my tv is going to arrive in a while and it has a google assistant button + mic. I plan on side loading zoom but will I need to buy a USB/Bluetooth mic or can I use the one in the remote?

    How can I calibrate my METZ Android TV?

    I have recently purchased an Android TV.

    The most used app on the tv seems to be Youtube, but the display seems to be not proper.
    Other apps don't seem to be affected so much.

    The colors are too much, and images seem washed out.

    The (video calibration) menu is available only if I select Live TV.
    If I try to cast a calibration video from my mobile after opening the menu, the menu disappears.

    How can I fix the colors on my TV?

    Eliminate nonsubscriber choices from screen

    Any way to display "Public IP address" or "VPN connected" status on Home Screen?

    I am using Surfshark app for VPN but other than launching the standalone surfshark app I am looking to have a visual queue in the home screen that the VPN is connected and my connection is private is there any tweaks or anything that I could do to achieve this?
