Xbox controller swaps apps, and brings up on screen keyboard with button presses, instead of controlling the game.

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 11:08 AM PST

    Hey all!

I've connected my Xbox controller via Bluetooth, and I can use the joysticks and A button no problem. But the B button brings up my recent apps, the Y button brings up the on screen keyboard, and the RB brings up the search function on my phone.

I'm using a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I figured it might've been a Nova Launcher issue, but I disabled it and went back to the One UI Launcher and still had these issues.

I've done some searching around and haven't found anyone else experiencing this. Any help is appreciated!

    [REQUEST] Any basketball game.

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 07:19 AM PST

It doesn't have to be 2K or a mainstream game/developer. Anything will do, I don't care if it's more of a managerial role or actual gameplay.

[Request] looking for casual multiplayer coop games

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 07:06 AM PST

Hey! was wondering if any of you here would know any casual multiplayer games you can play with a friend or your partner.
Honestly i'm not too picky I've been trying to find something in the style of perhaps Sims, Animal Crossing, stardew valley or minecraft but to no real awail yet (obviously apart from the official ports ofc).
It'd be lovely if it you could play at the same time but also separate from each other, like e.g. sharing a garden.
Some games would qualify if we just shared login credentials but that is well not really going along with most TOS plus doesn't allow simultaneous playing.

I'm not sure i managed to clearly point out what I'm looking for but I'd be more than grateful for any suggestions at all.
    Cheers

A new PvP focused mobile MMORPG A3: Still Alive is launching on Nov 10.

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 05:53 AM PST

Just a quick catch up to see whether or not there will be much interest to this new upcoming Netmarble game.

PvP in this game doesnt have autoplay unlike many other mobile MMOs. Pve ofc does, but the main focus here seems to be PvP. We got a guild aiming for EU #1, hit me up if youre interested.

[Request] Are there any good wilderness survival text-based games?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 05:33 AM PST

Like the title says, I'm looking for a good text-based wilderness survival game. I downloaded "survive - wilderness survival" but I would prefer a portrait mode one like "D&D style choice game" linked below. Thanks in advance!

I've been looking for a game that specializes in endgame pvp, any suggestions?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 09:56 PM PST

I dont know how to look up these type of games. But I used to play a Chinese game that was like this 4 years ago. It was called paramon, and it was easily the most addictive phone game I've ever played. There were different servers and on each server there was a pvp leaderboard. You got to challenge players within a 10-50 ranking of where you were at. And eventually as you got to the top it was a daily battle of who could get 1st place each day for the 1st place prize.

The monsters that you collected seemed so addicting to get. Each monster had certain skills that you had a chance to get when they hatched from the egg, and the skills were things that were just percent chance effects. For example, " 30% chance for next attack to do 300% damage". Or something to that regard. And the pvp was afk focused, there was no control cause everything was by chance based of skills.

TLDR: I was wondering if there was any game that is endgame pvp focused like this nowadays. I doubt there would be anything so specific as to what I mentioned. But something close is more than satisfactory.

I've been looking at afk arena or mobile legends but I'm not sure if they fit the bill pvp wise.

Whatever happened to the android games "you're a bank"?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:30 PM PST

It was a banking simulator where you had to manage deposits and loans and investments. It was a game you had to pay for, and was pretty heavily marketed. But now I can't find it on the app store. What happened?

Exploding Kittens is an underrated game tbh. Give it a try if your into card games. I'll just leave it at that. The game is pretty easy to understand so I wont explain too much rules except that its pretty much a card version of Russian roulette except better. Because it has cats (:
