Nokia TV 43 Accessibility Services Posted: 27 Oct 2020 04:30 AM PDT It's been 1 month I'm using Nokia TV 43 inches sound by JBL. And I'm going crazy because I couldn't fix this issue with accessibility. I try to keep this sharp and clear. Apps that need to be granted Accessibility Service aren't showing under accessibility in device preferences (settings). I badly wanted to use Button Mapper on TV too but it needs accessibility service and the app not showing under accessibility settings. Later I tried other apps, they're also not showing up under services like any other android system. I'm losing my mind, I tried a lot to do something different but dint work out. The seller (Flipkart) and the Nokia customer support itself not helpful. For example apps will show this msg asking to grant permission. And app supposed to come under here Can someone please help me out with this ridiculous android issue. [link] [comments]

[Android TV] Bit Improve accuarency of sdeloaded Google TV Home Posted: 27 Oct 2020 07:04 AM PDT ※For people in outside US (because US people can simply use Google TV for android) Search whatever movie on your PC Chrome. Side row shows the movie info. Then, click "All watch options" →"EDIT SERVICES" Select Service what you are subscribing. Now, "For you" section picks movies from selected service. ※May not work depend on your country ※Netflix and Play Movies will show up in Movie and TV section whatever service you picked. Powering off from mains switch yes/no. Posted: 27 Oct 2020 07:43 AM PDT Can I directly power off tv by mains switch or should first power off by remote then switch off from mains. Realme 32" Android TV is my TV which is an upgrade from my old crt tv paired with a stablizer and I don't know if directly switching off from mains manually or due to less common power cut in my area is safe or not for TV. Voltage fluctuations is rare in my area but sometimes power can go down for 10-30 minutes and My main concern is that I am not lazy or impatient to power off Tv first by remote followed by mains switch but I don't have that liberty in case of power cut, so do I need a ups if that's necessary. Xbox One Wireless Adapter, Mi Box S 4K Posted: 27 Oct 2020 12:55 AM PDT So it's 2020 now and I am wondering if there are any updates on this: Any idea if I can get my XBOX One Wireless Controller (non-Bluetooth) working with a Mi Box S 4K running Android TV? The official XBOX One Wireless PC adapter is hooked up to my PC in another room but it is too far away to receive in the living room with the TV. Hoping to get this done either through software / driver / or by physically taking the wireless adapter and plugging it into the USB port on the Mi Box S 4K [link] [comments]

First impressions of Google TV Posted: 26 Oct 2020 02:42 PM PDT So I'm a bit of a tech freak when it comes to tech. So when I saw the Google TV it caught my interest. I currently have a Shield and Chromecast Ultra for Stadia. So I ordered from Google - very very easy to set up. However unlike my shield my American google account didn't pick up as many of the apps as I'd like DAZN being one. But pretty easy to sideload it. I ordered a USB C hub so I've got a 500GB SSD attached to it. The only thing I don't like is that there isn't a quick way of closing apps? Seems you have to force close them all individually? Unless someone knows of a way/app that does this. But in my view much better than the Amazon Firestick which I guess is the market Google are going for. I'm enjoying the Google TV interface - just wish it would show more apps. Also I've noticed my shield picks up that my tv can run 4K at 60hz but Google TV only picks it up at 4K 30hz which means no UHD in Netflix but I get it on Amazon Prime and Youtube. So I'll rate it 7/10 [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Oct 2020 01:28 PM PDT Anyine in Australia managed to install the Google tv UI (Launcherx) and not need a VPN? I've tried the apks in the usual channels around, but also tried the launcherx and base.apk from my Australian delivered chromecast. Seems with all versions I still need a VPN for launcherx to load the home page properly. Seems odd seeing that it's released here now, so not sure why there is still a geo lock to the US even with my own apk. Anyone managed to install launcherx without having to use a VPN? I can turn the VPN off after the page loads, and then the advertising row at the top and the cost of movies resorts back to Australian only sources and AUD but it seems to eventually go back to error loading the home properly and I have to reactivate the VPN. I want to get my Vodafone TV box with this new UI as it has a built in tuner as I will offload it to the inlaws who need a tuner (I use hdhomerun) and have the nice new interface with all sources showing. Chromecast with Google TV and Sling TV Posted: 26 Oct 2020 12:16 PM PDT Just received my Chromecast with Google TV and am trying to use it with the provided Sling TV app. If I am watching an OTA channel (using an AirTV Anywhere) I get major buffering on the Sling TV app. The other streamed channels work pretty well, just that the OTA channels are bad. Anyone else with this setup and having the same problem? [link] [comments]

A question about volume control and the Nvidia shield Posted: 26 Oct 2020 11:55 AM PDT Right now I use a receiver hooked up to my tv via toslink. I can only change te volume via the buttons on the reciever, because I lost the remote. Changing te volume of the tv does nothing. If I would hook up a nvidiashield would it also have this problem, or does it have it's own independent volume Also heard there was a it blaster on the remote, but I can't seem to find a compatibility list too show me if my reciever would work with it. My reciever is a pioneer sx sw series unit Because I would love to have just one remote and not have to walk too my reciever to change volume [link] [comments]
It worked then but now it won't work Posted: 26 Oct 2020 10:07 AM PDT I ise usb to sideload apps... It worked when I first tried it but suddenly "there was a problem parsing the package" always pops up in any app that I install...I don't know the reason why this is happening. So I wonder if anyone can help. Even tried to install the same app I installed when it worked..... [link] [comments]
Chromecast with Google TV on the way Posted: 26 Oct 2020 11:23 AM PDT Just purchased 2 of the new Chromecast with Google TV's and I'm wondering how other people with families have "worked around" the lack of multiple user/profile support. My wife and I have 4 kids (all setup in Family Link, which has helped with previous Android/Chrome OS devices) and I really don't want recommendations for what my kids watch showing up for me (and vice versa). Also, I would still like to be able to install my paid for apps/games onto the TV. 95% of my families usage will be YouTube, YouTube TV, Netflix, and random Android games from the Play Store, but other than that, I bought a couple USB-C hubs hopping to run some emulators to play my old games and also run Stadia/Geforce Now/Steam Link with mouse/keyboard, but I was hoping to be able to keep the kids out of the non age appropriate stuff. Any input would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |
