NetEase games announced Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for Android

    Posted: 26 Oct 2020 03:35 AM PDT

NetEase Games and ArtPlay recently announced that they are co-developing the mobile version of the critically acclaimed action role-playing adventure (ARPG), Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The game will launch globally by NetEase Games as a premium title on both Android and iOS.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a polished side-scrolling Metroidvania experience with ARPG-elements, produced by Koji Igarashi. Classified as a spiritual successor to the Castlevania series by fans, the game's core gameplay allows players to improve their character in a multitude of unique ways by utilizing different shards in-game. You will be walking in the footsteps of Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist curse which slowly crystallizes your skin. You must battle your way through a demon-filled castle summoned by Gebel, your old friend whose body has become more crystal than flesh.

Additionally, NetEase Games and ArtPlay have taken the opportunity to implement new features and unique improvements catered specially for mobile gamers. The UI and the 108 different shard icons have been fully redesigned to give players the best possible experience. While the developers do not have an official release date yet, but with the game announced, we can expect another positive announcement sometime soon. You can check more about the news here.

Getting a USB controller to work as a Bluetooth controller.

    Posted: 26 Oct 2020 07:01 AM PDT

I bought a Razer Kishi controller, and I love it, but a lot of games will only work with a Bluetooth controller, not a USB controller (e.g. Terraria, Call of Duty Mobile). Does anyone know of any software that will allow USB controllers like the Kishi to work as a Bluetooth controller?

In the game, you are a clone in a spaceship and an green alien sends you to a planet where you need to survive and explore. When you die, you respawn as another clone of yourself in the ship and it restarts. The icon was a the face of the alien.

[Request] Looking for a life-like war game where I need to produce things of my own (farming, buildings, weapons), defend myself, and optionally take things from others

    Posted: 25 Oct 2020 04:52 PM PDT

    Desired features:

    • Play when I want (I don't want to have to defend my castle at 3 am)

    • Need to produce or harvest resources (farming, hunting, science, or stealing)

    • Resources accumulate

    • Other players can steal, destroy, kill me

    • I can steal, destroy, or kill other players

    • It's a free-for-all game. Not a pre-planned adventure.

    • Should be player vs player or computer random, such that there is real risk of defeat and easy targets, rather than something that's made to be progressively beatable

    • Relatively simple to understand. I don't want 12 unit types and 5 different defenses, all with 4 different upgrade paths costing 3 different types of currencies. The simpler, the better.

    Less important:

    • No protections for hours, days, or weeks. If I die as soon as I show up, so be it

    • No long conversations or mysteries. I want to build, steal, and defend

    • No dragons or wizards or other fantastical things

    • No "end goals" of any kind. I don't want to get to the end of the Oregon Trail or conquer all the 7 kingdoms or something. Play must continue with no purpose

Games I've played that fall short:

    • Tower defense games - I don't want the adventure "levels" ending in ultimate doom. I want a challenge of survival and conquering

    • Stick wars - don't like progressive levels, no variable winnings

    • Halo - don't like how there's nothing to do but kill. I want to build a civilization or wealth or something

    • Empire Earth - this game was fine. I liked the farming, mining, building, and defense aspects. However, I think it was all about conquering and killing but you never actually got anything from killing except the victory. I want to steal resources while victory doesn't actually matter

    I appreciate the help.

    Toy Defense 3

    Posted: 25 Oct 2020 03:29 PM PDT

I've been playing Toy Defense 3 (I guess it's Toy Defense Fantasy now) on my Samsung for about 6 months now. I'm moving to an iPhone. I'm logged in to FaceBook and when I get on the iPhone, install the game, and log in to FaceBook, my progress doesn't update on the iPhone. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or how I can get my progress to move to my new phone?

N64 emulator with a dynamic joystick option?

    Posted: 25 Oct 2020 06:58 PM PDT

Hi, I'm trying to play Super Mario 64 with my daughter using an android emulator. The initial problem we ran into is that she wants to drag her thumb past where the virtual joystick exists. Most modern android games on the app store offer an option for a dynamic joystick. Is there an n64 emulator with this option?

Changing playstore country to buy regional restricted games , anyone actually try it for themself because is not that simple.

    Posted: 25 Oct 2020 06:09 PM PDT

l tried changing playstore country and appearantly you need a card issue by a bank in the country that you changed your playstore to , to buy for the first time. So let's say l change my playstore country to Japan, l need a card issue by a bank in Japan or else it will just give me a transection error message.

My guess is that people giving those recommend just changed country to download free apps and they never try buying app restricted to the country they changed to.
