Flydigi controller issues after Android 11 update

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 07:52 AM PDT

I've been having a hell of a time looking for solutions to this issue so I thought I'd just post a question here in case anyone else might know.

I've been using the Flydigi Wasp2 with no issues up until I updated my Pixel 2's Android version to 11. Now it won't save or load configs, which means it just fails to do anything at all when I launch games through the flydigi gamecenter app. Has anyone else had similar issues possibly figured out a way to fix this? I've gone through and given the app every required permission and made sure it wasn't missing anything. Even reinstalled the app just in case but no dice.

Would love to figure this out. I really like this controller and it would suck if it just never works anymore

Streaming mobile games to Twitch or YouTube

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 07:52 AM PDT

Hi guys, I noticed that in the last few years Android gaming has been growing super fast, with things like PUBG, CoD Mobile, EvE Echoes and recently xCloud getting announced.

Because of that, I was wondering if anyone here could help me learn how to stream mobile games to Twitch (or YouTube, although I would prefer Twitch) directly from my phone. I know it's not gonna be as fancy as streaming from PC, but since my phone is all I've got and I can use a camera and mic with it, I figure it would be a good place to start.

If anyone here has experience with that, could you provide some help about what the best apps are or any other advice to get me started?

What app are you supposed to use for those android controllers with the L/R soft pads?

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 12:48 AM PDT

You know where they have triggers that control the soft pads that click over the top of the phone. (Not the bluetooth ones) example here

Most games don't conveniently have buttons there so I assume you use some software to map those placements to the button placements in a game, none of the controller listings seem to specify how this works.

    Thanks!

Terafyn a card based RPG is heading to Android this month on the 24th.

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 11:30 PM PDT

Terafyn is an upcoming narrative-led card game with RPG elements that will be told episodically. It's set to arrive for both iOS and Android on 24th September and will see the main character searching for their true purpose in the world.

The game will take place in a large world filled with characters to meet, puzzles to solve and random events to encounter. Movement is node-based and players can visit a variety of locales that include forests, swaps, plains and other settlements. All of which is depicted with hand-drawn visuals that the developers hope will instil feelings of old-school pen-and-paper RPGs. You can check the official site for more details

I have no idea what Yabatanien means, but I can tell you that it's like an escape room/point-and-click horror (not scary, just gory anime deaths) game that I thought was very, very good. Oh and it is free. No ads, unless you click optional hints. Oh and it's fucking hard as fuck.

Before Dark is a cool neon-istic stylized platformer game where you can run out of battery if you take too long in one level. Your goal is to get through all levels until you reach your family's place. But that is in 20 extra levels which are to be released later in free updates.

It's quite hard, to be honest.

Be sure to support this dev. Been working on it for a long time! Dev is AHAKuo.

Looking for a game I used to play

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 01:33 AM PDT

So when I was younger I always used to play a game where you were a little stickman in someones textbook and had to shoot incoming enemies. pls I need to know.

So I thought about it a bit more and you could buy a dog as an upgrade and buy different weapons.

[Request] The best MMORPG for Android we have right now?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 08:55 PM PDT

I would prefer an Android MMORPG with these features:

    • Somewhat new, a released game in 2019 -2020 would be great. Would consider a 2018 game.
    • Hopefully no stamina system.
    • I have tried Black Desert Mobile, Dragon Raja and Ragnarok Eternal Love. So kindly suggest any other MMORPGs other than these games.

Best telescoping controller for a note 10 with an otter box case?

I'd like to be able to use a controller on my phone for things like project xcloud but I don't know if stuff like the razer kishi will fit without taking the case off and that's sort of a pain. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    [Request] Arena Shooters

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 10:50 PM PDT

Some years ago when such things were new ngmoco had a game called Eliminate Pro for IOS and I had been gifted an iPhone 3G (at the time Android barely existed), which I then took across country on a greyhound, playing the utter crap out of it. It was pay2win in a sense but it let me live out my love of old-school arena shooters on mobile. Every now and again I'm reminded that I've never found a good substitute on Android.

I could just play quake live but honestly I've played literally thousands of hours of that on PC, and I think what makes it hard for me on mobile is that I'm always comparing it to the PC experience. Additionally while the gameplay is classic I'm looking for something with a slightly fresher coat of paint. Doesn't need to be beautiful but id love a new mechanic or two, or maybe a new visual style.

Anyone know any arena shooters that might scratch my itch?
