| Prime profiles on AndroidTV other than Shield yet? Posted: 05 Aug 2020 07:19 PM PDT I have the Tivo4K and I am still waiting for the prime profiles feature to appear (US). I have it on every other platform in my house including Roku. I know someone here mentioned that they had seen it on their shield...has anyone who has a non shield Android TV actually seen Prime profiles appear in the United States? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 06 Aug 2020 03:08 AM PDT I'm trying to pair my MI Box 4s to my Computer but each time I enter the pairing number, on the MI Box screen I can't seem to find a way to enter it. I press, what I think, is the enter button on the remote, but nothing happens. Any suggestions would be welcome. [link] [comments] | ||

| Freeview play apps not working Posted: 05 Aug 2020 12:31 PM PDT Hi, I just bought an Android TV and have been having some issues. One of the main ones is that all the freeviewPlay apps (iPlayer, itv, all4 etc) won't open and give me an error: FVP-300. I've done some looking and people are saying that an Ariel plugged in is needed. This seems absolutely obsurd as every other service doesn't need this. If I had an LG smart TV I wouldn't have to do this (I've just replaced my LG one). My main issue is I don't actually own an Ariel cable and really don't want to buy one if I can help it. Also the fact I don't pay for Tv license (as I never use BBC services - only opened the app to test if it was working). Does anyone know any other workarounds or whether it's a different issue? Separately I've also been having issues just casting All4 - it will just pause itself before adverts and not do anything until I uncast and recast. Could this be caused by the freeviewPlay issue? Thanks in advance! Getting really frustrated with this - on the verge of returning it EDIT: I didn't originally try this as some other forum posts said it didn't make a difference but I have now done a factory reset and it seems to have resolved the issues for now. The all4 app is working without connecting an Ariel. I have no idea why it wasnt working before. Only did a brief test before work this morning so it may be short lived. We'll see... Thanks for the replies and help! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 05 Aug 2020 10:11 PM PDT Do we know what's going on with this? My S912 Coreelec box just died so I'm looking for a replacement for my living room TV. It will clearly run Kodi, I'm just wondering if it will output lossless audio (probably not). [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 05 Aug 2020 08:51 PM PDT I am trying to view a ZOOM meeting on an Android TV. The TV will turn itself off at different stages of opening ZOOM (sometimes as it's opening, sometimes after I enter the meeting number). If I can get the meeting started then it runs fine, but sometimes I have to turn the TV back on 5 or 6 times (or more) to get into the meeting. The TV is an RCA. It says RTA3201 on the user manual so I assume that's the model number? And we are running ZOOM through a thing called SideLoader I think? And I did not buy the TV or set it up. I am just running it now and trying to get it to work. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Aug 2020 11:17 AM PDT My TV has two USB ports which are not enough for me. Can I use TP link 4 port usb hub in this situation? Will it affect or damage the TV if I insert it in one of the stock ports and connect multiple gadgets into the hub? Also I've bought two good quality kinda expensive LED backlight strips for the TV. It uses usb port for power supply. Do such strips put load on the motherboard or is it harmful? Any advices are welcomed. Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 05 Aug 2020 10:00 AM PDT Is there a setting to make my TV *NOT* broadcast to everything else on the network? My PC/phone/etc. keep prompting if I want to cast/stream/share to it - and I don't. Ever. [link] [comments] |
