Animal Farm is an upcoming adventure game based on George Orwell’s novella

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 12:26 AM PDT

George Orwell's famous 75-year old allegorical novella Animal Farm is finally upcoming in the form of a mobile game in the fall of 2020. This will come as an adventure game from the popular indie devs known as The Dairymen and Nerial.

Players will have to make important key choices throughout the game's story. The choices you make in the game are going to have a major effect on the events that happen on the farm. But conversely, there is going to be more to the game than influencing the branches of the game's narrative. This is because players will be required to defend the farm, balance off resources, and ensure that its animal populace remains intact and content.

Abubakar Salim will be narrating the game. You might recall him as Bayek in Assassin's Creed: Origins. Animal Farm is going to be available this fall on mobile and steam. There's no specific information on the price for now. You can read more about the news here.

Is there an android game where you grow an empire and conquer other countries?

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 12:28 PM PDT

Like those games where you conquer land and grow your empire actually based on history. Not clash of clans styled game where you grow your village but a whole empire. Please recommend best games. Thanks

[DEV] A game where we all are ants in an ant colony

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 02:05 AM PDT

My friend and I have developed a free android game (A game where we all are ants in an ant colony) that was clearly inspired by a popular Facebook group ( A group where we all pretend to be ants in an ant colony ). It is a complete meme. Look at it if you would like. Thank you and WORK for The Queen!

Short Description: Guide your colony to reach the divine heights of globANT conquest! GROW your colony, LIFT food/resources, BITE those who threaten The Queen's dominance, CLAIM territories, and most of importantly, WORK FOR THE QUEEN! This Pluto's Playground's production inspired by the popular Facebook group "A group where we all pretend to be ants in an ant colony" gives her beloved ants the opportunity to manage an ant colony on behalf of The Queen.

I'm open to feedback since this is my first android app! Hopefully, it makes you chuckle a little bit lol

In dire need of an addicting PvP game!

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 09:45 AM PDT

Please someone save me from the constant conveyor belt of installing and deleting a game after being let down by either P2W contents or dead games.

Must include; PvP, Portrait mode, (collecting features) , simple graphics nothing too heavy, a decent grind, prefer turn based but open to anything.

Come on you legends I know you've got something for me

What's a brainless game that takes very little concentration I can play during Zoom meetings?

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:15 AM PDT

I'm looking for a premium or otherwise ad free game I can play during meetings. I have to actually take in the audio information during the meetings, but something where I'm pretty much clicking on colorful objects would be nice. Any ideas much appreciated!

Money making games (that actually pay out)

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 08:57 AM PDT

Like a lot of people in guessing were all in financial problems, I'm wondering if anyone knows any money making games (not the apps that give you other games to download) that actually have paid out

Ports of older PC/PS games like Tomb Raider 1/2?

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 02:12 AM PDT

So I got myself a nice new Android tablet and I'm not a huge fan of new mobile games because I'm honestly sick and tired of batlepasses, lootboxes, premium currencies, daily quests and all that jazz it makes me want to vomit BUT I found out there are ports of old Tomb Raider games and since I have an Xbox One controller it's quite an amazing gaming experience - big screen and controller is an awesome combo and it kinda feels like a regular gaming console. I've downloaded Magic Dosbox but honestly, the port of TR1 is like seven thousand times better than when I tried to emulate it. Are there any similar ports (or even original android games) that have the "normal game" feel and 100% support for controllers? Or any tips for DOS games to emulate on android that will work nicely on a controller?

    Top-down MMOARPG games like KingsRoad?

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 03:45 AM PDT

I played KingsRoad few years ago and it was really fun - could switch back and forth between playing in browser and on my phone. Sadly, last update was in 2018.

Are there any top-Down MMOs with active playerbase for Android that revolve around ARPG elements? P2W or not, not too important. Doesn't necessarily need to be top-down view.

Can you "beat" the phone heating?

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 05:42 AM PDT

Hi, I have an old P10 (but I can have the same "issue" with a Mate 20), that, no matter what is the game, it costantly heat...a lot.
Exos Heroes or Honkai Impact, heat the device as much as Guardian Tales or gba emu. (of course with the first two, after 40 min of game it's really annoying to touch the screen or the back of the phone).
Do you fight this issue in some ways? I'm so desperate that I'm thinking of put a peltier module + heatsink on a cover while playing xD
