Mi Box S keep dropping WiFi and this is really annoying Posted: 15 Jul 2020 05:55 AM PDT Hello, I know this is common problem but I do not have 5 ghz router or ethernet adapter. I tried factory reset, installing wakelock app, set modem channel to 6,7,8, changing channel width 20&40 but nothing happened. Still keep dropping WiFi and I cannot do anything with that mi box. I can't find any solution and need help. What should I do? Edit: I also installed latest firmware. [link] [comments]

Anyone with an Nvidia Shield 2019 able to find Peacock TV in the App Store? Posted: 15 Jul 2020 07:23 AM PDT It was front and center on my OLDER Nvidia Shield and was installed there as well as my Sony X950H but it doesn't appear in the App Store on my 2019 Nvidia Shield. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Jul 2020 09:37 PM PDT Most apps do not play movies anymore. Netflix gives me an error message that says "Sorry we could not reach the netflix service. Please check Network settings to connect to an available network and use Netflix (-100)". I can restart my tv and it might temporarily work again. I've tried unplugging my tv for 3 minutes too, but it eventually started happening again. Netflix, Vudu, Crackle and Youtube do not load movies. I can watch regular videos on youtube, but not actual movies. The only app I have seen so far that works fine is Hulu. [link] [comments]
Can I control IPTV on android tv with Google assistant? Posted: 14 Jul 2020 10:06 PM PDT I would like to program my google home to automatically start my tv and turn on a certain channel when I wake up or get home. The box I would like to buy is the Xaiomi mi box S. Before I buy this, is it possible to control Iptv? I have been searching on the internet but haven't found a solution. There are some topics here on reddit saying it is not really possible but those topics are over a year old so perhaps there have been some changes Tl;dr before i buy the Xaiomi mi box s, is it possible to control iptv with Google assistant voice control? How to aniff traffic on Android TV? Posted: 14 Jul 2020 09:15 PM PDT *sniff I want to sniff an IPTV app to get streaming urls from channels. I tried several apps but they make all apps go offline. Only Debug Proxy is not making apps go offline but it's not giving any results at all while other give some stuff but I can't reach any channel in that IPTV app, I can't reach any YT video etc. Any solutions? Is possible somehow to sniff traffic on PC via ADB from Android TV? On PC is so easy, simple software and you get anything you want but I can't manage to find any sniffing app for weeks already for Android TV. Is this Android TV issue? When I try to install sertificates those apps offer it says that it's not installed or it can't be installed. IPTV app I want to sniff is activated only on my ATV device, I can't sign in to another device (ATV emulator for example) to sniff it there. I must sniff it's urls from ATV Box itself. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Jul 2020 08:11 PM PDT I'm attempting to side load the spectrum tv app onto my Android TV. I've uploaded the APK file to drive and got as far as installing it onto the tv but during installation it stops and says app not installed. What am I doing wrong? I've tried apps like x plore and file commander, but either app lets me fully install the app. [link] [comments]
Netflix freezing on Phillips TV - resolved by reinstalling TV Posted: 14 Jul 2020 09:06 AM PDT I've owned a Philips TV (65PUS8204/12) running AndroidTV for ~9 weeks. In the last couple of weeks, I noticed the picture was regularly freezing when watching the Netflix app. Sound was not disrupted, but the picture would freeze for about 1 second. Sometimes the picture would freeze for longer (~5 seconds) and the lip sync would go out. I tried closing all other apps, but it didn't seem to make any improvement. After running through the 'Reinstall TV' process, the problem seems to be gone. [link] [comments] |
