| My phone has started showing full screen ads at random times, seemingly independently of any app. Posted: 28 Jul 2020 01:40 AM PDT I'll unlock my phone, and sometimes there'll be a full screen ad showing (which can be easily closed). Or one will pop up while I'm using the phone. I don't download a lot of different apps, but I did download a couple recently, which I have now deleted, in case it was them. But the problem persists. | I checked the Touch Sampling Rate on my A70 using cmd and I have some questions. Posted: 28 Jul 2020 10:15 AM PDT The touch sampling rate numbers aren't stable, why is that? They keep going randomly between kinda 105 and 115, and occasionally reaching 120. But why does that happen? I have to say that by using the device alone I could tell that the touch sampling rate is shit because of how noticable the delay is when I'm doing stuff that require precision. Also, what are these numbers? Are they the "hz" or what? Because if they are, then there's no way the A70 has a close to 120hz touch sampling rate with that bad of a screen. So what is it, and how do I know the "hz" using those numbers? I also tested a couple other devices and here are all the results: A70: all the numbers between 105 - 115. Unstable. A50: all the numbers between 115 - 125. Unstable, like the A70. Nova 3i: 130 - 110. Stable as it's 130 and then 110 and then again 130 and then again 110. It stays like that. Nokia 3: 168 - 175. Stable at 170. (mostly gives 170 but sometimes gives numbers between 168 - 175). As for how these numbers translate to real life usage, they are correct. The Nokia 3 touch responsiveness is the best out of all of them, while the A70 is the worst. The A50 is better than the A70, and it's quite at the same level as the Nova 3i. Lastly, I wanted to ask you guys if there's any way that I can adjust these numbers to make them more stable on the A50 and A70 or if I can higher them or something like that. I know it happens when you install a new browser, but I didn't. Actually, I haven't installed any new apps for weeks. I search the web and there seems to exist a browser by that name, but it's not on the Play store, and the icon I'll shown is not the one I see on the Net. Not only on my phone but also when casting it to my Chromecast Ultra (both happens). I don't actually know what may cause it, but I thought about a system call for pause playback. E.G: I'm looking a video on youtube and change to whatsapp to answer some message. When i return to YT, it loads like it was the first time I run it and the video has gone like i have seen it. It happens too with reddit, when i'm reading comments from a post and I change the app for something, when i return to reddit, it sends me to the home page and reloads like I just opened the app in this moment. I have more exemples, if i didnt explain very well. Now I am running Android 10, but it was happening since the last android version. When I connected it to the computer, all I saw was some folders with strange and long names like /(&^+'(^&FSG%('!645416+'. Of course not this, you got the idea. Then I kinda formatted the storage, and was left alone with TWRP. Ever since, my wide angle and front cameras don't work. I reverted to stock Xiaomi ROM an hour ago, yet it was also problematic: While the program said it is still being flashed, the mobile rebooted. Still, now I am on stock ROM, maybe with limited "fix", and with stock ROM I cannot use these two cameras as well. Before reverting, I tried,
I checked with Camera2API, and it shows only two cams (back main and front). It is okay, I am told, yet am unsure. Strangely while these two don't work, macro does work. Every time i turn it on it gets stuck on a loop. For a about 5 minutes, just starting and shutting down. After that it will go to the Android system recovery (this) , my question is, can i get like a usb bootable drive and do a fresh install (similar to windows) but with and SD card ? "Reboot system now" option just sends it to look again for a while until it gets to same menu. Already wiped everything and tried "factory reset", no luck. [link] [comments] |

But I have no idea what the originally factory one is? I just want a simple dark/black theme with no fancy graphics (it's a work phone) But I cannot seem to find one that doesn't involve £90 (GO) Is there a way to just download a dead basic theme on my pc and copy it to my phone without a launcher.
