Newzoo forecasts there will be 2.7 Billion Mobile Gamers by 2023

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:29 AM PDT

Market researcher Newzoo has come up with its high-level forecasts including players' engagement and revenue numbers from 2020 to 2023. The forecast suggests that there would be 2.7 Billion mobile gamers by 2023 out of Three Billion Gamers.

The report further mentions that the number of gamers worldwide by the end of this year will be 2.7 billion. Out of which a whopping 2.5 billion players will be playing on mobile, 1.3 billion playing on PC, and 0.8 billion on the console. This shows the popularity of mobile gaming in the last few years

As we all know, In-App purchase is the core mechanic of the free-to-play monetization model. Currently overall 98% of all mobile game revenues are generated through in-game transactions. Newzoo forecasted that this will grow closer to 100% in the coming years.

[REQUEST] Old-School Dungeon Crawlers for Android

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 10:12 AM PDT

Hey guys and gals! I absolutely adore classic Dungeon Crawlers like Wizardry, the Dark Spire, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and others. Games like Darkest Dungeon & BurriedBornes also fall within this trope somewhat.

I'm wondering if you guys can give me any recommendations, I know about Pixel Dungeon (which is really quite good) but I'm looking for more to get my fix while out and about!

The games which I'm trying to find must have turn-based combat, involve the exploration of a dungeon or level of some sort and have some type of fantasy setting.

Some of the games which I've already tried out include Dark of Alchemist, Battle Souls and Grim Quest. I'm also aware that the old Wizardry games have been ported to Android, but as far as I know they haven't been translated into English, only Japanese.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Likewise if you enjoy this type of game then I hope that this post will be of use!

    Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc Android

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 10:28 AM PDT

This is an amazing port, controls are well made and it is easy to play. The story and soundtracks are one of the best. They will be releasing Danganronpa 2 and V3 later. Tbh I have not played a better port, the only problem is the steep price, it is $17.99, it is way better than the emulated versions of this game. If you are going to play for the first time, don't look up anything and play, too many spoilers online.

Everyone's thoughts and impressions on Titan Quest

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 08:14 AM PDT

    Hi all,

Was looking for a new game and saw this on the play store. Just want to come on and ask everyone to give their thoughts and impressions on the Android version. What they like and don't like, and see if it was worth the price. Saw it was on sale for $2.99, plus I have a $2 off credit on the playstore.

What percent of games you downloaded did you finish or complete ?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:24 AM PDT

I just realized I finished easily less than half of my games. Mainly because its a lot of platformers, action rpgs, shmups and the difficulty level is usually very high with on screen controls so I usually just give up at some point and move on. I have some platformers where I cant even beat the first few stages due to the touch control sensitivity problems. So maybe I beat like maybe only 30% of my games. Its sucks and is unfortunate which is why I dont criticize anyone for not being into phone/tablet games.

    [Request] New phone: new games.

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:21 PM PDT

So I just upgraded my device from a Galaxy S6 to a Galaxy S10+.

What are some of the great games that I've missed over the last few years having a smaller and less powerful device?

I've already got Door Kickers on the list and probably another run through of The Room

What are your suggestions for games that will display the power of my new device?

Why doesn't Grid: Autosport work on my Galaxy Tab A and how can I get it? I don't mind paying for it.

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 12:59 PM PDT

The game doesn't appear on the Play Store on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, running Android 9.0 (Pie). I don't have any other Android devices and want to try the game. I don't mind paying the $9.99 if I have to. I am not leet-hacker so I would prefer the simplest possible solution. I don't have a PC or Mac if that matters, but I do have a Chromebook.

    Thanks!

[REQUEST] any game like rage of Bahamut, gwent, or magic the gathering?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:05 AM PDT

Looking for a card game similar to magic the gathering/Gwent where you start with a basic deck and then begin to expand by unlocking more cards as you win or level. And looking for a game like Rage of Bahamut where there's guilds and battles and you upgrade cards/characters to get better versions of them. Only thing is I'm looking for the best/MOST popular for both
