    Sony A9G seems to idle out to this screen when earc is on. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. Any solution to tweak on android tv? Sony says this isn’t a widespread thing and I beg to differ

    Hey Folks,

    i finally got my first android tv. It is a refurbished TCL 50EP662. Hoever when i start it up on the botom left of the screen it flashes some system informations which i cant get rid off :(

    Also it seems like i can somehow access some Factory Menu / Setting.

    I have searched the internet but could not find any usefull informations On how to disable this output (left picture) I tryed to find a manual on how to do a hard factory reset. Holding the one button the tc has while connecting it to the power the tv starts into some kind of recovery mode but then says "no method selected" or something and then boots up normaly. A normal factory data reset did not help.

    Does anyone have an idea what to do?

    Is there anything better than Nvidia Shield for 4K streaming?

    I've tried both the new and old models of the Nvidia Shield. Both had issues, though less so on the older model with more RAM. I want perfect 4k streaming from my Plex server with zero delay or lag. And I'd like the remote to work properly. What are my options? I'm not against a dedicated PC if that's what it will take. Thanks for any advice

    Create your own Androi TV box (with a raspberry pi 3)

    Hi everyone,

    First of all, sorry if this topic shouldn't be on this subreddit, I didn't really where to post it.

    I have a Philips TV which isn't under Android TV sadly, and it seems than I can't change my TV OS (what disturbs me is the lack of applications, and that Miracast don't work at all).

    So I would like to transform my raspberry pi 3 B into an androidTV box, with which I would cast the screen of my phone (I insist on screen and not files, because lot of tutorials on youtube seems to don't understand the difference 😒).

    Is there a way to do it, I didn't find anything which seems to be precisely this, chromecast alternatives seemed to can not stream the screen but only files.

    That's not a problem for me to install an app or root my phone (im under android 10 but I can go back with android 9 if needed)

    Can’t connect Bluetooth mouse to Android TV

    Hi everyone,

    I can't connect my Bluetooth mouse ( Logitech Anywhere mouse to be exact) to my Mi Box 4K Android TV box. The box sees the mouse and tries to connect but failed every time. I don't know what happened. Does anyone have a solution?

    I just got a random Chinese android tv box with 4gb ram but the launcher it has normally looks quite shitty but I don't know what launcher I should use any advice?

    Vola sport different times

    I'm trying to use Vola sports to watch live football and the time on the initial screen (where you choose the match) says if it's playing or how long until it starts.

    However, when I click to what that game, the time is different and says theres still 3 hours to go even though the match has started and says it has started on the initial screen

    This means I can't actually watch anything because it's always the wrong time

    Any ideas for a fix?
