    Anyone else feel like switching to iPhone has become more possible?

    I don't scroll through here that often, so I don't know the general consensus on Apple products here, so forgive me if I'm not saying anything new or if I'm deviating too much from the public opinion here I guess.

    So as funny as it is to see iOS introduce old Android features as "new" year after year, it does make switching more of an option to me honestly. As a MacBook Pro user, I started out completely ignoring the idea of getting an iPhone to pair with my laptop better, I felt iPhones were just too limiting. But the two OS's have really started to become much more similar than before in terms of general, everyday feature set.

    I don't feel like I'd miss much switching from my S10e to an iPhone now. I'd only miss freely downloading apks, YouTube Vanced (audio with the screen off for free), and GCam. But besides that, with great cameras, fast speed, grouped notifications, an app drawer, widgets, fluid animations, and so on, iOS now feels like Android with way less sacrifice than ever before. Hell, if I wanted I could get an iPhone X for less than the price of a new flagship Android and get more software updates and support than the usual Android phones and basically the same performance.

    And I'm sure now, with Android refining design, speed, and features, more iOS users are thinking Android feels like iOS with more options.

    I don't know why I'm making this post exactly, I think I'm just kinda happy to see the two OS's becoming mature and optimized enough that I, a person who's never owned an iPhone, can actually see myself switching over for once.

    I know I'm not the first person to think about this but the more I think into it the angrier I get. Snapchat singlehandedly created the stigma that "Android cameras suck" or "Androids are slow." Snapchat's refusal to create an app that actually uses the camera API, or at least optimize the app itself, has made for a horrible experience on Android since day 1. Even as Android cameras surpassed iPhones long ago, Snapchat never took the time to implement a proper capture function from the camera, and instead opted to take a screen capture of the camera view. Due to Snap's popularity, especially among teens to young adults, the image that Android is horrible spread like wildfire. The years of Snapchat being so popular, and being so unoptimized for Android has permanently tarnished the record of Android for a huge percentage of that age group. If Snapchat had optimized, even for just a handful of major Android phones, that entire view would've faded significantly years ago. But they didn't, and now the generation who's addicted to Snapchat will forever see every Android phone as a piece of junk for poor people.

    Edit: So a lot of people are interpreting this wrong and I want to clarify. I'm speaking on experience with my age demographic. Sure you can say "Snapchat is dead nobody uses it" all you want but my age group does use it. Many rely on it. Having a poor preforming Snapchat app is a deal breaker for many people I've talked to when discussing Android vs iPhone. So maybe this seems like a stretch for some people to believe, but the influencer community, internet meme communities, casual teenage users, and the like have had poor experiences with Snapchat on Android and now associate Android with poor camera quality.

    Im just wondering what you guys are averaging when typing,

    When I do touch typing i reach around 60-70 WPM and when I only try do swipe gestures i get about 30-40 wpm using Gboard
