| Posted: 04 May 2020 08:15 AM PDT Yesterday I downloaded that app. It has 30 games of which I played at least half on my phone that had number keys years ago. I'm sure many of you here have played them as well. To be honest, I am happy I saw it recommended on play store and this really brings back memories. Now I understand why people older than me would want to play game boy Pokemon games. Let's start with good stuff about the app: - all games are offline - there are no microtransactions - app is free - there are absolutely no ads, I have spent few hours online at it and haven't seen 1 banner or video ad, there are no interruptions at all - games bring back memories Bad stuff: - controls, that's it. Controller is almost like at nds, 11 buttons (4 directional, A, B, X, Y, L and R, and a pause button). Unfortunately, directional buttons are small so slight miss can have you jumping at 1 or 3. I've played Soul of darkness the most and I died so many times because of tapping slightly besides where I planned to. If current controller were to be changed to 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 * 0 # And move game screen slightly higher, games would be easier to control due to size. I would like for other big game companies to do the same. I have played many EA, Ubisoft and Gameloft games on my slide phone and I completed almost every one of them (I never finished brick breakers and balloon shooters) Has any of you tried Gameloft classic and would you like for more of those games to be ported to Android in the same way? | Posted: 04 May 2020 09:37 AM PDT Edit: To clarify the title. In-app purchases are fine as long as they're not necessary for gameplay (ie having to buy more time just to continue playing) and are mostly cosmetic (Triple Town) or expansions (Exploding Kittens). And the occasional unobtrusive ad is fine, just not one every 30 seconds. I already have Stardew Valley, Terraria and Minecraft on my PC. I'm looking for games that are easy to play and optimized for a Note 8 screen. No tablet games please. I love boardgames, but can't always play real time with opponents because of home life. So tabletops games with clever AI are ideal. I don't care for shooters or time-urgent games (Tower Defense games are fine, I mean games like Word Worm where if I get distracted, I lose the round. I have a lot of distractions in my home) I'm rather diverse in my gaming, I just have really poor depth-perception, which is why I avoid shooters or targeting games. Don't be afraid to suggest a bizarre or obscure game. You never know what someone will like, right? I spent hours on Reigns when it first launched. Previous games I've played to death: Catan, Triple Town, Ninja Fishing, Atomas, Geometry Dash, Really Bad Chess, Reigns 1&2, Picture Cross, Tsuki, Little Alchemy, Incrediblox, Rusty Lake, Split, Physics Draw, Christmas Sweep, Happy Hop, Tri-peaks. | Isometric rpg without pixel art? Posted: 04 May 2020 10:51 AM PDT There are quite a few good pixel art 2D games, but I was wondering if there are any that have 2D handpainted art without the resolution of the art being pixelly or deliberately low resolution. The only one I've really found on Android is Triglav, as an example of what I'm looking for graphically. Dragon's Crown is another good example despite not being on Android. Although I said rpg, really I'm interested in any genre. I'm mostly interested in longer games rather than bite-sized ones, which is why I mentioned rpgs. [link] [comments] | ||

| [REQUEST] Sci Fi Strategy MMO no more than 5 years old Posted: 04 May 2020 09:54 AM PDT Ideally it'd be cool if it had real time army control in battles like clash of clans or war commander rogue assault (two of my fav strategy games). I've played all the Star Wars games. P2w doesn't bother me tons, pretty much goes with the Android territory these days. Just don't want one too blatant about it if possible. Would be cool if the game featured base building and stealing resources from others. Also not a dead game ofc. If nothing with real time battles exists in the sci fi setting, I'm willing to accept other settings. Thank you 😁 [link] [comments] | ||
| [REQUEST] Looking for a somewhat Cheap2Play Co-Op/Guild/Clan Based Game. Posted: 04 May 2020 07:39 AM PDT So, I've found myself looking for a new mobile game that I can sink some time into. Some examples of games I've played and enjoyed heavily: Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross] Clash Royale Shadowverse I've also played Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2 and Dragalia Lost, but they didn't hold my interest as long.
I've also been eyeing Legends of Runeterra, but I have my concerns due to the Valorant anti-cheat and I'm not sure I want to support Riot. It's a pretty big risk if any vulnerability was found. I don't believe Runeterra has something like this (can anyone confirm?), but still hesitant to support Riot bec of it. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
| [REQUEST] Help me find a game to kill the time? Posted: 04 May 2020 05:35 AM PDT I hate these types of posts and I'm sure you do too so I'll be as quick and as specific as I can. I'm looking for a new game to play. I'm looking for something that is maybe similar or combines elements of the following, aka games I've loved: Alto's Odyssey Psebay Golf blitz Trials (the old school Xbox versions, Trials Frontier is so bad, unfortunately) Snood Angry birds Peggle Worms Armageddon (Have not found an even halfway decent Worms game unfortunately, would love to be proven wrong) Features/genres I want to see: Easy to pick up and play, can be competetive/online, offline fine too Features/genres I don't want to see: heavy RPG elements, first person shooter, pay to win, the need to grind to move forward Any help would be appreciated! | Best Heroes of might and magic clone? Posted: 04 May 2020 03:58 AM PDT Hello I see a lot of games on the store that look like homam, but most of them are micrograms action filled junk. I don't mind paying for the game, but I want it to be a one time purchase. Definitely can't stand waiting for my moves to recharge or other phone gaming bullshit. Do you have any recommendations? | Posted: 03 May 2020 07:00 PM PDT My phone is about 7in tall, so I'm looking for a grip that would fit. I don't really want anything with joysticks or triggers etc, just something to help hold it better. Most I've seen are made for smaller devices. Does anyone know of anything larger? | Posted: 03 May 2020 04:20 PM PDT Hey folks. I may be looking for a unicorn here, but I'm giving it a shot. Recently got a good phone and now I can play probably everything on the Playstore. That said, I'm excited but at the same time dissapointed because every game that I end up liking is filled with P2W elements. Recently started playing Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, but I can't see myself competing with tryhard P2W players. So, I'm looking for something like that. A game with a progression system (like Mighty Quest), with no P2W elements (I don't care for cosmetics). Games like Mobile Legends / other MOBAs don't really attract me, since you gotta play a lot of games to unlock characters, or pay for them (I'm a LoL player, so I really don't want another grind for champions). Thanks in advance! EDIT: I don't mind if it's a premium game (buy-to-play), as long as it fits the bill. [link] [comments] | ||
| [REQUEST] In need of a racing game. Posted: 03 May 2020 11:37 PM PDT Please suggest a nice racing game without P2W mechanisms. I want a game other than Grid Autosport which I have already played in PC. [link] [comments] | ||
| [REQUEST] I need your recommendations Posted: 03 May 2020 07:26 PM PDT A few days ago I was installing and uninstalling games from the Play Store because I really don't know what to play currently. I've seen several pages and videos of game recommendations, but none completely convince me. Do you have any great recommendations? I only ask for three things: 1) Not "Pay to Win" or "Freemium" games, please. 2) That they don't require much free time to play them and progress satisfactorily. 3) That they don't have annoying ads. Also: better if they can be played without connecting to internet. [link] [comments] | ||
