| My Android TV won't Boot (TCL 55DP663) Posted: 11 Mar 2020 11:55 PM PDT I activated "Pointer location" in the developer settings. The TV restartet 2 times and now it won't boot past the Android boot animation. I've read that some android TVs have a reset button to acces the recovery menu but I didn't found it. And everything is working pretty good except that some video apps (ie HBO) give me sound and subtitles but no video (only black screen). Anyone know how to fix this issue? [link] [comments] | ||
| Any Android TV Stick suggestions? Posted: 11 Mar 2020 11:29 AM PDT Hello guys, Sorry if this is a very cliche post but I just got an Amazon Firestick and wasn't really happy with its App store. I'm thinking of returning it and look for a TV Stick that is much more flexible instead. Is there a TV Stick where I access to whole android app store and download Streaming apps and VPN apps etc without Amazon, Apple etc. limitations? Looking to have access to Putio, Streamio, Roku, VPN, Netflix etc. and can't really decide which to go. I Also own an Apple TV but can't even get its SmartDNS working for VPNs and it's the most limited platform anyway. Any suggestions are appreciated. [link] [comments] | ||
