Posted: 12 Mar 2020 06:48 AM PDT I like the clean and minimal look of the app but theres very little you can change inside the app. No color changes is a little annoying. Also, you cant change with the swipe function does on a conversation. You swipe left or right and both of them ask if you want to archive the conversation. You cant switch it to have one "delete"? This https://imgur.com/a/P4TJ4Ek notification, seemingly from TikTok, pops up on a Lenovo K5 play once in a few weeks or so. What's this? When i tap on it, it installs something like https://imgur.com/CXnZu29, that I directly uninstall. I blocked Google Play and most unknown crap from accessing the internet, there are only a few apps installed, nothing special. That creeps me out a little bit. How do I prevent this? I often use keyboard with my device using that cable. But the battery of my tab is in a bad state. So I want to use the keyboard and charge my tab at the same time. Is there any way I can do that? Now it just pops up ads frequently regardless of what app I'm using and redirects me to some crazy websites online. I tried deleting everything and it's still there. Rest of it marked in red cant be changed, opened etc. You can click on it, but it does nothing. Yesterday evening I recived what I think is going to be one of the last updates to my smartphone. I have a HTC U11 Life (Android One Version) and I recived the long awaited update to Android 10. After downloading and installing, I tried to connect my laptop to my phone mobile hotspot but I couldn't. I figured out that it was a problem on my phone as the hotspot wouldn't turn on on 5ghz and shows an Error message. On 2.4ghz everything works correctly. So here I am, asking for your help and expertise. Did anyone else had the same problem? I do not know what to do. Thanks in advance. PS: sorry for mi spaghetti english. I am a italiano boy. The situation: A Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-750G specifically) is locked by a pattern. The owner of the phone forgot that pattern. You currently need to wait 64 minutes to try a pattern. Solutions:

| Pixel 3a XL - Touchscreen Unresponsive Posted: 12 Mar 2020 11:51 AM PDT Hello, I have a Google Pixel 3A XL in the US on Verizon. For the third time now the touchscreen has gone completely unresponsive. It will go unresponsive in the middle of doing things and it will stay that way if I force restart it with the power button. Which is also unusual because I believe when one holds the power button to shut down the phone it is supposed to stay off, but mine will automatically reboot. The previous two times Ive been able to reboot the phone over and over and it eventually works, but Ive done it about 20 times now and still nothing. When the phone boots with an unresponsive touchscreen it will also always be in airplane mode and right before the home screen loads I will see for half a second the most recently opened app as if I had pressed the "recent apps" button (I dont know what that button is actually called but I have heard it called that before; its the button at the bottom that is not the home or back button) I have a pretty standard phone. Its not rooted and Im only using apps from the play store. The only third party software I can think of that could be causing the issue is Nova Launcher. It seems like a software issue, but I guess it could be a finicky connection somewhere in my touchscreen. Though that would not explain the airplane mode and displaying the most recent app when first booted. Do yall have any idea what could be my problem or at least what I can do to get it to go away when it does happen? [link] [comments] |

It has something to do with optimization but I cannot find the exact setting to change. Posted: 12 Mar 2020 11:14 AM PDT Hello, I recently bought an LG G8 on eBay ("open box" claimed from trustworthy looking seller), and the phone itself functions. However, even though it said it was unlocked, in device settings it has "Brand" listed as Sprint. I use AT&T, and am able to use my SIM card, allowing calls and data, but only up to 3G. The person at the store said that it was hardware locked to 3G, but I'm not sure that's true. The model number matches the Canadian model, so I don't know if that would prevent it. I've tried different network settings, but nothing has allowed 4G. Could it function if I unlocked it? I've been told I can purchase an unlock code. How do I know if the lack of 4G is a software restraint (of Sprint locking or otherwise), or if it physically can't access AT&T 4G? Since it can use AT&T service, but not 4G, does that mean it will never be able to use AT&T 4G? Help is appreciated. [link] [comments] |

To install apps I need to add a google account. I do not want to bloat it with my personal google accounts contacts or anything as it barely has space and is worse in all regards compared to my personal phone so will only use it for contacting people at work or sharing files with them. My question is as the phone is strictly for work (separate contacts and stuff) should I create a new google account under my work email or is there any benefit from using my personal google account? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 09:55 AM PDT I've downloaded music to my phones(Moto play) sd card and eventually some tracks either are shortened as in only the intro plays then the song skips to the next track or the song ends before it is supposed to. I know its probably common sense at that, it has to be excessively draining the battery and therefore causing my charges cycles to pass quicker but then what's the way around it? Because if that I cannot do anything that requires root. What is the most that I can do with ADB. The main reason I want to unlock the bootloader is because I want to enable Camera2api and get rid of One Ui. Is there any way to do this with just ADB.
