Would you play a mobile RPG with this kind of art for monsters? (I didn't want to go with a pixelated look but still wanted a retro-rpg kind of look and atmosphere, background is just a placeholder)

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 07:10 AM PDT

    Hi

My first ever game just got its second Chapter after about 1 yerar. I was working on this part-time for some months now.

During the last year I had many very kind and curious e-mails/feedbacks from all around the world. It means really much that I could make fun moments with my game to strangers.

    Google Play Store link:

I hope you like the screenshots and will give a try.

    I still appreciate every feedback.

    Gwent impressions

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 08:42 AM PDT

OK, I am playing this since the beta because of entire The Witcher theme etc.
If you are looking for the GWENT from Witcher 3 move along. This ain't that.
That game was so popular that they made a standalone app and upgraded it. I understand that.
Game on mobile and PC (GOG) are the same thing so you will get a PC quality game on your phone.
With that in mind around 3,18gb space on your phone is required. It is cross-platform which is a big plus.
The game works great on my phone from 2018. No heating, no extreme battery draining...
Visuals are great so if you have bad eyes that is a great plus.

Now that "but" part. I am not really sure if I will keep it on my phone. I will play it on my computer but that's it. I really think that this game is too complicated for my phone. If you don't mind that then go on you won't be disappointed at all.
I need some less complicated game with quick matches on my phones to kill time here and there. Currently playing Night Of the full moon and it is brilliant but I have some problems with portrait games.

Dungeoning is a developing fantasy incremental rpg, and it went into Early Access today [DEV]

    Play Dungeoning in Early Access

A Bunch of Pixel-Art Bad Guys

Dungeoning is the game I've been working on and Alpha testing with the help of this community, and I'm hoping you'll give it a go as it enters Open Beta today with a new build of features, fixes and content.

The game is a sorta-idle-sorta-active pixel-art upgrade RPG with deepening systems, an evolving story, and a bunch of secrets. It has monsters, upgradeable loot, upgradeable Moves, upgradable party members and all sorts of findable collectible whatnot that leads to more dungeons. You quest, slay baddies, dive dungeons, upgrade gear, obtain keys, dive more dungeons, go on hunts, collect collectible items, gain Renown, open The Tpwer, climb The Tpwer, and confront this vicious little mage-gone-wrong, Lord Awful.

If you want to see more visuals, check out a ton of screens and gifs here on the site.

If this looks like something you might take a crack at, it went up on Google Play in Early Access today, and here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gunslingerstudios.dungeoning.

There's constant discussion about mechanics, story, bugs and guidance on our Discord server, and I'm hoping for feedback here or on the Dungeoning Subreddit. Hoping it scratches an itch.

[REQUEST] Free Offline games that have a good story and/or that can make me spend a lot of hours on it.

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 11:18 PM PDT

The internet connectivity at our place is not so good since the past two weeks (except during the late hours of night). Even Brawl Stars is unplayable during the day. The game should be: 1. Offline 2. Maybe similar to Vampires Origin or Stardew Valley or just any game with a good story 3. Must be free cause I don't have enough to buy now.

    Thank you

[DEV] We tailored a game for fans of the runner genre, and would love ideas, critique and feedback! - Grandpa's Parcel Rangers

    Hi guys,

We are a small 3-man game-studio from Denmark making games beside our day jobs - Hoping to be able to live from making games sometime in the future.

In May 2018 we released Parcel Rangers for android and iOS - a game tailored for fans of the runner genre. And have since developed updates to improve the game feel and content. But do the world really need another endless runner? We think yes. We really like the base core gameplay of the runner genre - But we wanted to add some extra action, variety and interaction space compared to the classic 3-lane only setup. Check out the attached gameplay video to get a feel of how the game feels.

Unfortunately we don't have a budget for QA/mass testing. Therefor we rely heavily on feedback from friends, family and most importantly our player base. And we would love to get more suggestions, ideas and feedback top further develop the game. We want Parcel Rangers to be the most solid game in the genre. So if you are a fan of the runner genre or interested in giving it a try, the game can be downloaded on Google Play.

    Google Play Link:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.alimote.parcelrangers

In regards of any feedback, critique, ideas and suggestions you may have, please let us know - Either here in this thread or you can catch us at mail on [support@alimote.dk](mailto:support@alimote.dk)
    Everything will be very appreciated!!

Thanks a lot - Stay safe and take care out there :)

[REQUEST] Roguelike with short run times

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 02:44 AM PDT

    Hey there,

I'm looking for a roguelike with short run times. My favorite right now is Meteorfall: Journeys. It's really fun and each run just takes 20-30 minutes. That way I can have fun for some time and then easily put away my phone.

I tried out similar games but haven't found one that meets my criteria. Night of the Full Moon and Rogue Adventure are great aswell, but they take too long to finish most of the time (60 minutes or more). So this intereferes with my daily life too much as I prefer to finish a run in one session.

I also don't enjoy roguelites. They require too much time to unlock important items in order to advance further in a run (Buriedbornes and Dungeon Faster were too grindy for me).

So I'm asking you guys: What roguelike has fun/interesting mechanics and short run times (under 45 min)? It doesn't have to be a deckbuilder. It can be a roguelike of any genre.

    Thanks =)

[REQUEST] Any game like Michale Brough's games? Or like Seven Scrolls?

Hi, I recently bought Seven Scrolls and I loved it so much (at Hoplite level if you ask me), and this game looks and plays similar of Imbroglio and other games of Michael Brough (it honors him on the credits). Sadly all of MB games are on IOS, not android :(

Do you guys knows similar games like that? (Or any other turnbased simple but deep roguelike like Hoplite?)

    Thanks!
