I've got $15 from Google Rewards. Is This War of Mine worth it?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 05:38 AM PST

Hello all, I've been browsing this sub for some time now and love all the recommendations. I've accumulated about $15 from Google Opinion Rewards recently, and may finally pull the trigger on it. I've got a flight booked this weekend and wanna play something on the plane, and I'm between This War of Mine and Final Fantasy Tactics. Any advice? It would be my first time spending over $10 on a mobile game! Phone is a Galaxy Note 9+.

Can't install/buy Castlevania, can anyone tell me why?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 06:02 AM PST

I get a "This app is incompatible with all of your devices" where there'd normally be a button to purchase either game (both Symphony of the Night and Grimoire of Souls).

I have a OnePlus 6 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). I live in Belgium if that matters at all.

Anyone have experiences with these devices not running these games?

Thinking of doing a series of newly released games every month (or weekly) webpage and/or youtube vid.

    Posted: 04 Mar 2020 12:26 PM PST

Hello everyone! I am one of those serial mobile gamers who is always constantly looking for the next new game. I have a hard time finding a valuable resource and most of the time I sift through the piles just to find games to downoad myself. The main problem I want to solve is finding newly released games to play. I like to be ahead and on top of my competition, so this is my way of doing so.

I made a guide for 10 games that were released in February: https://mobilegamershq.com/new-free-android-games-february-2020/ where it shows a list of games that recently came out the month prior

    My questions are:

    1) How could I improve this and actually make it a far more valuable resource?

    2) Would this be something worth doing?

    3) What about a daily series of newly released games (much harder to do probably)?

    4) Breaking down into categories i.e. (5 newly released mobile RPGs)?

    Thoughts?

There is a game i played a year ago but i don't remember it's name, it's a metroidvania in a mine And the character you play as looks like Indiana Jones, the game begins with the character walking in the desert until getting to the mine.

    Battle/combat Simulators

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 11:12 AM PST

Does anyone have any good ideas for games that let you set up formations [and maybe tactics] but actual combat is low or no user interaction?

I want no timers, no p2w, no 'epic heroes' you need to gamble real money for just to get by stage 4. I do want a single player campaign... i'd rather pay 10 bucks for a balanced experience than even open a timer based game.

I've found games like mini-warriors [you set up 8 different heroes, each with an army, watch them battle against enemy AI], or Knights and Glory [you set up infantry, archers, cavalary]....

But those games are paywall nonsense, where you are thoroughly dependent on gambling.

I've also tried idle rpgs.. but they are too grindy. I reallly like setting up formations, watching tactics play out... but i do want rpg elements where my troops/heroes improve over time. Any ideas?

[DEV] Hello! I figured you'd be looking for a simple way to kill your boredom. If so, then Linear: A Minimalist Arcade Game might be for you.

After years of looking for "a mobile game like Castlevania", it turns out that the best of the lot, SYMPHONY OF THE NIGH just got stealthily ported to mobile! One of the most important games ever made and it's now on mobile! Is the port any good?

    Stepmania?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 09:36 AM PST

I've been looking for music games here and there, but not a lot do it for me. I recently started to reminisce to my DDR days of old and I remembered: I have Stepmania sitting around on one of my old laptops with a huge slew of sm files. And it would be cool to play these portably on my GPD, or hooked to a TV with my phone.

Has any form of Stepmania, one that allows importing your own songs and sm files, ever hit Android?

[Request] Looking for something similar to Grand Prix Story 1/2

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 01:28 AM PST

I am a big fan of tooling around cars and seeing them driven. Gran Turismo's B-Spec was awesome, even if I raced better. Gran Prix Story has given me so many hours of good fun, building cars the way I want them, busting my butt to make them competitive with the content I was working on, etc.

So, specifically, I am looking for a game with street cars (I don't like F1), that can be modified/customized, while I watch it race. Maybe give a little bit of input (like GPS2).

    Thank you!

How much do you have sitting in the Playstore waiting to get spent on a game that no one ever makes?
