(Philips) Is my TV faulty or is the firmware terribly bad Posted: 20 Feb 2020 07:52 AM PST Hey everyone A year and a half ago I bought online my 1st TV, it is a Philips 49PUS6412 which carries Android TV SO. For a long time now, I've been having problems with Wi-Fi disconnection again and again, even when I tried direct plug to ethernet cable! I checked recently and the firmware is up to date. Was wondering if this is a common issue among Philips Android TV's or is just mine. And if there is any solution other than waiting for Philips/Android to fix the firmware. [link] [comments] |

Dual Layer Dolby Vision on Compatible TVs? Posted: 19 Feb 2020 01:34 PM PST Does anyone know if dual layer Dolby Vision playback is possible on Android TV? [link] [comments] |
MiBox S starting up without telling it to do so Posted: 19 Feb 2020 10:27 AM PST So this happened twice today, which was pretty noticeable since I have HDMI cec turned on. After turning on its not responsive. Can't do anything with the remote. I will try a hard reset now but having it turn on at night would be pretty bad so I would have to disable cec. Has anyone got the same issue and maybe has a fix? [link] [comments] |
AndroidTV Box doesn't power on Posted: 19 Feb 2020 12:25 PM PST Hello all, I bought an android tv box a year ago from AliExpress, exactly the same one in the eBay link bellow and I've realised today that it is powered off and doesn't power back on. It doesn't have a physical power button on it and the remote never did power on the box I always had to unplug the power cable and plug it back in to pier it on. Do you guys think it's dead or can we bring it back to life. Ive left it unplugged since yesterday and hoping once I get home and plug it in it might help? [link] [comments] |
