Netflix app get proxy error on AndroidTV using VPN but no issues on android, ios and windows Posted: 18 Feb 2020 09:51 PM PST I use a paid VPN and would use it to watch Netflix for shows not available for my market. I have no problem using any server when I am using it this way on my Windows PC, iOS devices and Android devices, however, even if I use the same VPN server on my MiBox S, I get the proxy/unblocker error. The support of the VPN was able to help me find a somewhat reliable server I can use for 1 country but I would like to find a way to not go through the hassle of getting the error on my MiBox when I change countries. Did Netflix code the Netflix AndroidTV app with a more strict VPN detection because AndroidTV is supposed to be non-mobile? [link] [comments]

Screen rotation fix for Mi Box and Hal Launcher Posted: 18 Feb 2020 02:11 PM PST Hi. Currently using Hal launcher and a sideloaded version of ITV hub and was hoping to find a solution to my orientation issue. When I launch the app, it's in portrait mode but on its side (so it's full screen) which makes it very difficult to use a mouse and it's on its side and makes movements awkward. When I watch a video, it rotates around to normal landscape and mouse works as normal. Is there a way to get the app to start in a natural portrait upright mode for ease of use of the mouse but then auto go into landscape when opening a video? It's quite difficult to explain but I hope this makes somewhat sense! [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Feb 2020 12:31 PM PST As it states I have the tx3 pro android tv box. Only thing is that it is more like a tablet or phone. The Ui is just not the same with android TV boxes. My question is there a way to maybe flash it with a different version of android that is a tv version or how do I go about changing it? It is nothing like my Nvidia Shield and I want to install it in another room in my home. [link] [comments] |
