Which Android box do you guys recommend?

    Posted: 21 Jan 2020 07:46 AM PST

Hey guys, I am not new to android tv boxes and have been using them for about 7 years. I would like to get a really good one, maybe around a $200 budget but also a bit flexible on that price. I want something that does 60fps 4k and has gigabit ethernet. Is there a model that you guys would recommend?

    Thank you!

External HDD detected BUT not showing files in 3rd party players (VLC, KODI...) on my Android tv 8.0

    Posted: 21 Jan 2020 01:23 AM PST

I connected my 32gb pendrive (FAT32) and 3tb external HDD (NTFS) to my android tv 8.0, videos on both are playable using the built-in player of tv but it's not a good player so i use VLC and for some reason I'm unable to see my NTFS format HDD files in it BUT FAT32 pendrive files have no problem to browse and play.

I have lots of movies and tv shows on my 3tb external HDD and i can't play them thru VLC or even Kodi which is very frustrating! Unable to format it to FAT32 either. So please someone help me find a solution guys!!

Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 WARP+ on Android TV

    Posted: 20 Jan 2020 08:30 AM PST

I've signed up for WARP+ and have it running on my Mobile phone. I tried to get it on my Mi Box S (Pie) but it doesn't show up on the Play Store.

I tried side loading a version of the app but it didn't work, not sure if I got the right APK.

Anyone got this working on their Android TV device yet?

Anyone know a MiraCast apk for TV BOX? (The built in does not work) Help?!

    Posted: 20 Jan 2020 07:52 PM PST

I have a 4.4.2 kitkat android box, and the miracast app that is built in does not work. Does anyone know an apk I can use instead of the built in one; so I can uses my tv box as a wireless display with windows. Also I have my box connected to the internet using ethernet. I don't know if some apps require wifi to wifi connection, but I would really prefer if I can keep my box using ethernet, and then obviously the computer wifi to the router. Thanks.

Replacement remote for my Android box.

    Posted: 20 Jan 2020 04:51 PM PST

Ok I have a cheap Android box, cost me like 24 bucks. Works great and has great specs. But the remote is IR and sucks. I have a wireless mini keyboard that I use for my HTPC and have been using that. I would like to replace the remote with an BT remote with a keyboard on it. I don't need a touchpad. Been looking at this one

It's got learnable buttons and I like that feature and also has a cursor button like the original remote.

What do you guys/gals think? Suggestions welcome.

    This is the box
Surprising works great I figured 20 something dollars was worth the risk.

Edit to suit this sub and not the other that I copied and pasted from.
