    Hi. I would like to get advice. I have published an app in Google Play near year ago. It is adult web sites blocker. 12.01.2020 I have submitted update and after that got email that my app was suspended with issue: "Violation of Sexually Explicit Content policy". I have wrote to policy support team and got the answer: "...your app's screenshots currently contains links to pornography. You can refer to the attached screenshot for additional information." They have sent me the screenshot My answer was: "...as you can see I've used filters and there is no way to find out the correct urls of the websites", I've wrote that I can remove the screenshot or replace it, but I don't have access to my app. After that, I've got the answer: "As much as I'd like to help, I'm not able to provide any more information or a better answer to your question. In our previous email, I made sure to include all the information available to me.". I believe I had a conversation with bot, nobody reviewed my app. It was approved a year ago with that screenshot, and now it is blocked by bot. And nobody cares. I have 3655 active installs and I'm using Google Pay for app's subscriptions. My subscription plans were removed. Now I am losing old and new subscriptions every day. Is that kind of mistake? What can I do in such situation? Sorry for my English.

    Donation button in app?

    About to publish an app, I don't want to have an ads or make it paid. With that said I still want to make some money of it. So the questions is: could I include a "Donate" button. From what I can gather it's fine as long as I use google play billing instead of external parties. However, I found no definite answer regarding this problem. If anyone has experience with this particular situation, please let me know the details. Thanks!

    I still get revenue but I want users to keep my app for longer period of time. Basically it is an action game with 20 levels.

    Persian calendar - question to people familiar with it or those from Iran (or other countries with that calendar)

    Hey,

    Is there anyone who wanted to release an app in Iran or countries that use Persian calendar?
    I need to solve some challenges related to localization of a European app to countries with that calendar ( we may have a problem with notifications and synchonization because of the difference between Georgian and Persian calendar)

    Does anyone know if it's standard in Iran to use that calendar in smartphones?
    What date in usually shown on the main screen next to the hour?
    Is this a default calendar? Or maybe it's rare to use it as default on the phone?

    Video view crop center

    I want the video inside videoview to zoom in to center when I click a button . How to do this? Video view setScale() right now is increasing the size of videoview as well thus spilling over to other views. I just want the video to zoom in with the view being in the normal size. How to go about this?

    Users still able to review an app after unpublishing?

    I have an app that relies on third party data. The data source has gone down recently and I'm not sure when/if it will come back.

    A lot of 1 star reviews are now rolling in so I thought it would just be best to unpublish while I sort out the data source.

    However there are still plenty of negative reviews coming in. Is this normal behavior? I was hoping I could publish the app again in the future if I was able to resolve the source data issue. Previously it had a 4.7 rating, but I fear the rating will be trash by the time I fix things.

    Any advice on what I should do in this situation?

    How to gain root access on Android Studio AVD

    I am a security research and have been working the last week or so to gain root access on Android Studios AVD's images so that I can install a custom cert in the system store. Do anyone know if this is possible on Android 10? I have seen lots of old documentation on how to do this pre Android 7 but nothing from that documentation appears to work anymore.
