| Do you enjoy virtual controllers/buttons? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 06:49 AM PST I've always thought that just using a virtual gamepad in your Android/iOS (touchscreen device) doesn't feel right. Usually when thinking about ideas to work on games for these kind of devices some developers struggle a lot to find another kind of interaction that suits the device better, natively, like using gestures, etc. However, I've seen that some players don't really mind about this? I wonder what kind of experience do you have while using virtual gamepads or just virtual buttons on the screen. I appreciate innovative experiences and interactions that "feel good" when playing. Something like: - diplomacy/conspiracy - but longer, more epic and with more micro management - subterfuge: but with longer playtime, more tactics, less "i stay awake till 4 in the morning" - the old browser games: o-game, tribal wars, stronghold, but less grindy and with a more family friendly playtime - maybe a little bit roleplay I like dudes on a map and focus on diplomacy. I would be willing to buy a solid game for 2$ or less. I prefer solo play. But would do simple PvP. The most recent game I played that fit this pretty well was Capsolmon Fight. I've searched high and low, I've checked out itch.io, the playstore, everything.. and the only thing that's come close is a buggy Dwarf Fortress like game that hasn't been updated since 2016, is there really no colony sim/management games for mobile??
