I haven't been able to figure out how to play more than one track at a time from Google Drive with the default player on my phone. | Problem with phone screen display Posted: 30 Nov 2019 08:25 AM PST I'm using the Samsung Note FE (formerly known as Note 7) running on Android 9. The screen has a yellowish tint but tolerable. Lately, display turns really yellow and the colors which were pretty vivid before, become washed out. After a couple of hours, display goes back to being okay. Then becomes problematic again. This has become a cycle and it's driving me crazy! Can anyone please help me? Adaptive brightness and blue light filter are turned off. [link] [comments] |

| Samsung S9 Keyboard Autocomplete Suggestions are Grayed Out Posted: 30 Nov 2019 10:38 AM PST I'm using the default keyboard on my Samsung Galaxy S9 from Verizon and the suggestions bar for autocomplete is gray instead of white like it was before making it really hard to see. Posted: 30 Nov 2019 08:37 AM PST I'm looking to find a way to charge my LG V30 while also having bluetooth headphones or earbuds and using an external mic setup that uses USB. I have a Focusrite Scarlett interface that I want to use on my phone, but that uses USB A. I have two USB A to USB C adapters, but that restricts charging, and I have tried wireless. And when I give up on charging, I can't use the microphone as an input and a separate device as an output. Any suggestions? I will try to describe it better if needed. [link] [comments] |

But, I keep getting spam notifications on my android through chrome (a lot say that I have won money or there has been a deposit it to my bank account of ALOT of money) they are obviously fake and I don't know how to make it stop. I have downloaded an antivirus (for free) and it has reported my phone is free of viruses. I am willing to pay for one that will stop the chrome viral messages. | Facebook not appearing in app drawer? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 10:34 AM PST Hello, I've had the same issue since I got my Blackview BV9500 Android phone where only the app Facebook doesn't appear in the app drawer when you go to the home screen or another app. If you hit the app drawer while in Facebook it also makes it disappear. It's very annoying when trying to close the app or go back to it from somewhere else. I've tried looking in all the settings and whatnot to see if there was like an 'auto close' or drawer hiding function but I can't seem to find anything and Google searching a solution hasn't helped. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled and everything to no avail. The Facebook Lite app works no problem in this respect, but doesn't have nearly the functionality. Thanks for any help! | V50 - use fingerprint sensor to Lock screen?? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 08:07 AM PST I recently upgraded from a v30+ to a v50. On the v30 the fingerprint sensor was also the power button, so I used it to both lock and unlock the screen. Now that there's a power button on the side of the v50 I can use the fingerprint scanner unlock the phone, but not lock it. Any suggestions to use the fingerprint scanner to lock the screen? | SD card full only because of "Other" directory Posted: 30 Nov 2019 07:38 AM PST Hi guys, I'm writing here since a few days ago my phone (Nokia 6 with Android 9) decided to erase all of my songs and some of my pictures that I took in those days, and despite this my SD card is now amost full and the only directory using that much space is the Other one. What is in there and what can I do to free space, and maybe also recover my songs and pictures that magicaly disappeared? Have they gone in that directory? | Issue formatting SD Card for internal storage on Nokia 6 Posted: 30 Nov 2019 11:37 AM PST Hello. Recently I tried upgrading my microSD card on my (unrooted) Nokia 6 running (vanilla) Android 9. Up till now I utilized a 16GB (that worked without issue) and I tried upgrading to a 128 gb one and lateron a 64 gb one. Both new SD cards have the same problem, while my old one still works fine. As soon as I enter one of the new micro SD cards into the phone, I get promted to format it either as internal or as transportable storage. Formatting as transportable is no issue, but formatting as internal seems problematic on both the new cards. The result of formatting the sd card as internal storage (as my old sd card also was formatted) is as followed:
Again, this is contrary to the old SD card which still works fine in the same environment. If I switch it back in, everything works. Apps, transferring music, accessing files from windows, everything is right there. So far, I've tried the following things:
I've spent quite some time on google without much success, so I'd be happy if anyone here would be able to help me with the issue. As this happens with both (new) SD cards and they otherwise work perfectly fine I assume I'm either being dumb or my phone is having issues with it in one way or another. In any case, I'd be glad for any tips in regards to that. The sd cards are worthless to me if Apps cannot utilize them as storage and if I can't put music on them, naturally. [link] [comments] |

Recently it has happened more frequently and for a longer duration, so I've come here to see if anyone can help me out. So, I've had my phone (an LG Stylo 2) for about two years and it was a pretty cheap phone to begin with, but I haven't had many problems with it until now. Lately, at random times, my screen will turn super tinted blue and gradually fade back to the regular colors, so long as I leave my phone unlocked. This used to just happen when I would turn off my phone and then unlock the screen, but recently it has happened while I am using my phone. I will also add that I have a blue light filter on my phone, but I'm not sure if this would affect it. Does anyone have any idea what this might be or how I could fix it? | $30 REWARD to help me use Tasker to read People Magazine by voice for a quadriplegic Posted: 29 Nov 2019 01:58 PM PST Hi all - I am trying to setup a 17" Galaxy tablet so my quadriplegic aunt can open and read People Magazine by voice. It would mean SO much to her! She has missed reading People tremendously since her accident. Plus it would help her feel like she can do mroe. I've learned that Tasker plus AutoVoice and AutoInput is the best way to accomplish this. So I downloaded those but am totally overwhelmed about what to do next. I think she'd read People Magazine via a Kindle App although we could use other e-reader apps if they are better. If someone can walk me through this and maybe even get on the phone with me tomorrow (Saturday) or the next day (Sunday) to figure it out, I'd Venmo/Paypal you $30. Thank you, everyone! Posted: 30 Nov 2019 04:50 AM PST Hey everyone, yesterday I wiped my device and installed xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 Stable ROM. And now before restarting my phone i had 90% and after i got 79%. And now the battery probably has like 85% or more, but my device shows 79%. I tried to charge my phone and when i did, in 10 seconds the battery went from 79 to 84 percent. | [Help] Lost Android Device with Location Service turned off Posted: 30 Nov 2019 04:46 AM PST As can be seen in the title, I've lost my Huawei phone. Sadly the location services are turned off so I can't find it via FindMyDevice What I thought of is to install an app remotely on the phone via the app store to remotely turn on Location Services. Is there any app that would work for this? EDIT: I've read online about an app called Plan B that allows you to activate tracking after you lost the phone but the app is from 2012.
