Since there is no pressence of the party in the internet (and the locations owners are on vacation right now), we can't just post it somewhere. The phone is fingerprint locked and set to quiet so even answering a call is allmost impossible. Is it possible to get some sort of information about the owner to return it out of the phone and how? A number out of the telephone book, the google play account or something? I hope, you can help us out there! I don't even know, which phone it is, glass back, chin fingerprint sensor, singular rectangular camera sensor with one Flash, usb c, headphone jack. For the ones that have crossed my desk that are functional, I've grabbed what information I can, but I'm left with a series of devices (different models/carriers) that were factory reset, and had the SIMs removed before I arrived. The 'Verify your account' message has got me stymied as I don't know what email address they were associated with, and, with their SIMs being removed, I also don't know what phone numbers they were paired with. There is a MDM solution in place, but, again, it looks like these remaining devices weren't enrolled. Is anyone aware of a method to recover the linked email address for a phone, or any way to recover its use other than flashing it? [link] [comments] |

I understand that the autoinput plugin for tasker will allow me to simulate button presses on an app but is it easy to trigger this action with a bluetooth remote ? | Why is my Bluetooth FM transmitter not automatically connecting to my phone? Posted: 20 Nov 2019 09:04 AM PST I have a Scosche Buetooth FM Transmitter and a Moto G7 Power. When I put the transmitter in the 12v outlet to power it on, my phone does not automatically connect to it. I have to go to previously connected devices and connect it manually. Both of the three other phones I used this transmitter with connected automatically. Unpairing and re-pairing the divice and phone did not fix the problem. The phone does automatically connect to my Damson Cizor speaker at home. This is mega annoying because if the transmitter os jostled, my music won't start again and my Android Auto app quits. Until last week my battery life was giving me about 16 hours when full but since 2 days ago it would always bootloop when it's not plugged in to the charger. The twrp recovery works without being connected to the charger though. So am I having a bad battery or something else? It was working fine until yesterday. I copied multiple files. After the transfer, I opened the SD card folder from the PC. The files were all there. Later, when I opened the folder from the phone, the files were gone. This is somewhat puzzling because it worked properly before. The SD card is brand new. At any rate, I have a QNAP NAS that I could copy these files from but it can be a very slow process over wifi. I'm wondering if an USB-C to Ethernet adapter like the one pictured here ... https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Ethernet-Portable-1-Gigabit-Chromebook/dp/B00ZZ6NW5E ... would speed up the file copy process if I wanted to copy files from the NAS to my phone by plugging into the router. | Axon 7 Mini Battery Drain Issue? Posted: 20 Nov 2019 06:54 AM PST Let me first say that this thread is eerily similar to my issue, with a nearly identical phone, but it seems like he deleted his images so I can't do a full comparison. I know a couple of responses there said it's the battery, which I don't doubt could be the issue, but I'd like to explain my situation before accepting the same explanation. With that out of the way, my Axon 7 Mini seems to eat through battery life, losing about 50-60% overnight for the past 2 days. I really only notice it when I wake up, but as I'll explain later, it seems to happen to a even when I'm using the phone, but I haven't felt like it's been draining faster than usual in those situations. I'm going to (try to) set aside the phone for an hour or two to see if 'triggers' again. When I looked at the battery usage, I noticed the following and compared it to another phone (funnily enough, a regular Axon 7) to see if it was odd or not:
So to me, it seems like there's something either with the OS or an Android app secretly using up a ton of power on my phone, and prefers to do it at night, rather than it being a battery issue. I was out of the US for two weeks, and to avoid any unexpected international charges, I turned mobile data off and turned airplane mode on the entire time I was out. When I returned to the US, I switched everything back to normal settings, but have not been able to receive any group texts, and when I attempt to send image attachments in my texts it won't allow me. I primarily use Texta (paid version), so I opened the standard messaging app on the S7, but it won't even allow me to tap the "Enter message" line. Posted: 20 Nov 2019 05:41 AM PST Visual explanation of my question: https://i.imgur.com/Prl8QYm.jpg With my current Xiaomi, previous Xiaomi and Samsung before that, I've always opted for tempered glass screen protectors over plastic simply because I like the feel of them.. so this isn't a question of which one is better. Without fail though, every one that I have received, both cheap and more expensive versions always seem to have some overhang at the edge where I can get my fingernail under, on all sides. The description on the sale pages often mentions a 2.5D radius edge (as shown in the picture) which smooths it out to blend in with the screen itself, but it always feels like the ones I receive are 'upside down' due to how much it sticks out. Is this normal design? Because I've once again chipped the edge of my protector with a minor knock. Not dropped, nor did I drop anything on top of it.. just bumped it with the TV remote causing a 6mm wide chip down the edge and hairline crack laterally across the phone. [link] [comments] |

When I searched "Minecraft" or "Minecraft Earth" on google play, only Minecraft came up, not Minecraft earth. I don't understand this so I decided to go deeper. I went onto my laptop and found the Minecraft Earth website and found the google play link. It was there, but it said my phone was incompatible because "Your phone is not available in this region" which makes no sense because I live in the US, where it was released last week and my dad's phone popped up and said it worked on his phone. | Posted: 19 Nov 2019 08:03 PM PST Here's my predicament; I have a DJI Phantom 3 Standard, and the phone connects to the remote via WiFi (it's USB on the newer ones) but because it's WiFi it chops of the other WiFi networks as well as cellular. Both DJI Go and Litchi don't have a option to download offline maps (DJI Go 4 does, but it only works with Phantom 4 and newer and won't download satellite view) so if I want to use maps I can run the app and cache them, but it doesn't always work and sometimes deletes them if I try to get too much. If there was a way to make my phone go for WiFi for most things and cellular for maps.google.com or whatever it needs to be, then I could get around the problem. But then I couldn't get maps on my tablet, because it is only WiFi and AFAIK you can't connect to 2 WiFi networks. Maybe if there was some sort of unit that will merge networks and split the traffic accordingly?? Like a Arduino/Raspberry Pi based unit that runs some sort traffic sorting software. Maybe there's a way, and maybe not. But if you have any ideas, I'm open to try. [link] [comments] |
