Google Photos finally added doodling feature! Posted: 26 Nov 2019 06:19 PM PST Today received an update 4.32.1.282438324 and in the photo editing found this new doodling feature.. It's weird that how this should have been like this in the first place, you take a screenshot and edit with Google Photos to add texts, markings instead Google went to make Google Markup for Pixel devices only. Happy doodling! [link] [comments]

My Horrible Experience with Realme 5 Pro Posted: 26 Nov 2019 11:59 AM PST I saw lots of people on this sub talking about Realme and I commented on some threads sharing how my experience has been with the Realme 5 pro but I thought it would be beneficial to potential Realme customers in this sub if I shared my experience as a post. I am what you call an Android enthusiast and I love testing out gadgets, so if a device intrigues me I get it and use it for a while. In my experience the Realme 5 pro was unusable and here are the main problems I had with the device. Camera/display For what it's worth, the camera is truly amazing on the phone. It's the same sensor as the One Plus 7 pro and the Oppo Reno 2, I haven't used the OP 7 Pro (not available officially in my country) but I have used Oppo Reno 2 and I found the photos to be very similar to each other in terms of quality. And that's amazing that they are able to give that in such a little price. However, I was not able to enjoy the photos it took on the phone the LCD screen was so bad in my unit it made the photos look very yellowish, those same photos looked much better on different devices. I never liked the photos it took because the display was not capable of showing the image properly at full quality. The colors would be way off and it would make photos look so much worse and lower quality. Performance The processor is also really good but I don't know if it's the optimization or the crappy display quality that brings so much latency in the phone. It reacts very slowly to touches and it feels like it's not refreshing at 60hz, scrolling and typing on the keyboard feels very out of sync. This is why for me the phone was unusable because there were so many latency issues. The phone comes with Color Os, which is the same skin as Oppo however, Color Os is pretty bad in general in this phone they somehow made it even worse. The icons are very very ugly, just not well designed at all, while Color Os on Oppo has really great icons. The app drawer also has a white tint instead of a black one like oppo and because the display was so crap it looked very bad because the white balance was way off. Build Quality I'm currently using the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Oppo Reno 2F, before that I used Redmi Note 8 and before then I used Realme 5 pro. Using the Note 8 right after 5 Pro made me realize how bad the build quality was on the 5 pro, it felt like a cheap plastic toy compared to the Note 8. Conclusion Anyways, these are the problems I faced using the Realme 5 pro, maybe it's just that the marketing got the best out of me, I saw the ads, I saw the specs and for the price the phone seemed to good to be true and in my experience unfortunately it was too good to be true. I was very hyped and very very disappointed with the phone. [link] [comments]

Google dialer's contact retrieving feature is underrated Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:55 PM PST Google dialer's ability to pull data from contact details in Google searches is such a low-key underrated awesome feature. It saves me time from adding a lot of contacts by showing the contacts directly in my call history. [link] [comments]
