TO ALL OF THE GRID AUTOSPORT OWNERS!

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 12:10 PM PST

So, this game doesn't let us do a lot of things to customize the game's graphics. For example in my experience, there weren't any shadows for my car, and I REALLY CARE ABOUT SHADOWS XD. So I got curious and tried different things untill I came by a file named preferences in the data folder of the game, located in the android folder. There I changed some settings for myself and now the game looks much much better for me. So I wanted to share this with you guys on this subreddit in hope that someone makes use of it! So :

    1- go to Android -> data - > com.feralinteractive.gridas - > files - > feral_app_support

2- locate the file named "preferences

3- make a backup of the file if you want!

4- open it as a text file ( you can use QuickEdit if you want to)

5-now look for interesting things and change things up.

For example, to enable shadows for your car, like me :

    Find these lines :

    <value name="gfxconfig_high_shaders" type="string">ultralow</value> <value name="gfxconfig_high_shadows" type="string">ultralow</value> <value name="gfxconfig_shaders" type="string">ultralow</value> <value name="gfxconfig_shadows" type="string">ultralow</value>

And change the "ultralows" with "medium" or "high" BUT remember not to write the first letter capital because it may ruin the format and so it may cause bugs in the game And please don't change things up a lot, I turned advanced lighting on and I barely got 5 Frames per second XD

( Two of the lines above are related to high graphics mode, but because I only have normal mode and power saving mode, I don't know what the normal mode is called and witch of the middle or higher graphics option isn't showing for me, so I decided to change both of them. )

Annnnnd, that's it :) Thanks for reading through it!

9MM - Game Review (Single Player)

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 01:12 AM PST

9MM is a single player game that pushes Android as a handheld gaming platform. Featuring a full story campaign, addictive gunplay and a Max Payne feel, it gets a lot right.

This would be a great choice for those of you wanting to get into Android games that don't feature micro-transactions, merciless ads and online only gameplay.

OMG! So many good titles are on sale! Any recommendation?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 07:42 AM PST

I already have FF IX on Steam, and Dont Starve pocket.

I'm thinking of the Escapist, Worms 2, Monument Valley, Death Road to Canada, Terraria, To the Moon, Samorost, Machinarium, This is the police, and mini metro. What do you recommend from all of these games?

Also is Farming Sim 18 any good? I see it has In-App purchase .

[DEV] I just launched my first mobile game DeezNoms on the play store!

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 11:22 AM PST

I'm nervous but yet super excited about releasing this.

I've been super busy developing a game for steam for some time now but needed a little break. In this break I decided to give a small quirky little mobile game a go and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I've had tons of fun sharing this with a few mates seeing who gets a higher score on the leader boards.

Here's a look at some gameplay

Here's the game if anyone wants to give it a shot :)

I've still got a ton to learn.

[REQUEST] Cant find this one particular racing game anymore. Help please? Cant remember the name.

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 09:44 AM PST

So there was this racing game which popped up randomly on the playstore. It wasnt like the asphalt series with the pay to win strat. It was just a fun racing game with interesting physics and simple graphics. The controls were wonky at first because of the physics but its way more fun once you get used to it especially the drifting part which feels just right for a racing game. One day i reset my phone and got too busy and kinda forgot about it. I remember it some months later and somehow i cant remember the name even though i played it for 3 weeks lol. I looked for it in the playstore but i got nothing and also in the previously installed apps and still nothing. The closest game i could find was called "rally fury" which is fun but not the same as the game im looking for. Describing it: it has a wonkier driving feel than "rally fury" but has the graphics of "skid rally" but a little simpler in shapes and effects. Those two games are on the playstore.

Tldr; Cant find game on playstore Cant remember name Found two similar (can be used as reference) rally fury and skid rally. The rally was the only thing i remember. Maybe even that was wrong.

I played the game during the whole of july- august 2018 and reset my phone on september.

    [REQUEST] Looking for stealth/assasin game

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 01:53 AM PST

I really enjoy playing as an assassin, therefore im looking for a game that has that mechanic in it. It doesn't have to be a stealth game, any rpg that has a good stealth mechanic would also do it.

Paid or free, online or offfline doesn't matter. Thanks!

Mobile Gaming Unlimited Review | Local Warfare Name Unknown

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 04:58 AM PST

    Recommend me "respected" games please

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 08:01 PM PST

Kinda tired of "indie game that's sorta fun with four hours of content" being the main focus of this sub. I just want games like... hoplite/shattered/reigns. Just things that are popular and fun. Nothing special. They don't have to be turn based or anything, just fun.

Real Racing 3 is cool too? Cyber Hunter/PUBG are okay but online-only.

What would be the "best" controller for my budget?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2019 02:20 AM PST

    Hi,

I'm looking to get a controller as a christmas gift for a family member and am looking to spend less than £40, he mostly plays Call of Duty & PUBG Mobile.

    Budget:

    • £40 (preferably less)

    Requirements:

    • Phone Mount (Integrated or Separate)
    • Wireless
    • Rechargeable
    • Minimum of 5 hours playtime
    • Bluetooth 4.0 or higher
    • Must be compatible with Call of Duty & PUBG Mobile!

    Would like:

    • Vibration/Haptic Motors/Feedback

    Couldn't care less about

    • RGB Lighting! lol

I'd love to be able to buy some "Razer Raiju Mobile Controller's" but they're way outside of my budget!

Any and all advice & suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Google Play Balance

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 02:49 PM PST

I'm a bit confused. If I have Google play balance money but it isn't enough to buy something, does it use the Google play first and then charge the rest to my card? Every time I try to buy something more it says the price of the game and only shows my debit card as being used as a payment, even though when I click on payments it has the Google play balance as on.

    [REQUEST] Simple town/castle game.

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 09:32 PM PST

I'm looking for game along the lines of Simpsons tapped out, trailer park boys greasy money. Some casual, and not overly complex.

    It must be portrait/vertical playstyle.

Pvp elements are fine. I'm not trying to be the best and dont care if I'm the worst.

Must have some sort of progression while not playing, earning money completing buildings that sort of thing.

I dont want to be able to be destroyed and have to start from scratch again. I dont mind some destruction, just not total.

Preferably no set ending either, just keep going and getting better.
