    Forced Tutorials and account management.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 10:02 AM PST

I cannot understand why mobile game devs cannot understand the concept of.

    ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT BEFORE THE TUTORIAL.

You shouldn't have to play through a forced tutorial EVERY time you reinstall a game.

WHY DOES THE TUTORIAL COME BEFORE... Uh.. idk.. SIGNING IN?

As a PC gamer primarily, this baffles the mind.

    Mobile gaming peripherals?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 10:40 PM PST

I'm kind of out of the loop when it comes to modern mobile gaming. Are there any must-have gaming peripherals for mobile? From controllers to headphones, I'd love to know more about what's available and practical now days. I'm sure there's a whole world of mobile gaming amenities that I'm not even aware of and would love for you to share your current set-up.

Is there any actual recommendation engine for Android games?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 04:22 AM PST

Play Store sucks at recommending games, every list is just another "Popular Games" but with another title. So is there a website or app with actual recommendations based on games I like?

    Performance boostings apps?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 10:24 PM PST

I'm currently using a Samsung A11 and am having some serious performance issues while using many mainstream apps. I noticed that there are many 'Performance Booster' apps on the marketplace, but I'm not at all sure of their legitimacy. I'm looking for recommendations on how to get the most out of my current hardware. I know that the obvious solution is to just to "buy a better phone!", but I currently don't have much expendable income at the moment. Hopefully someone can offer some incite into improving performance or recommending a budget-friendly upgrade.

[REQUEST] games that are simple(slow paced) and easy to play without complicated systems

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 07:54 AM PST

I installed Genshin but for the love of god I cant understand the game a bit(too many game mechanics). I haven't logged in in 1 week and I probably didnt even finish the tutorial chapter. I used to play fast paced games but I can't enjoy them now. So I want slow ass games like Tower of Saviors, Grand Order, Clash of Clans. So what are some other games that are fine with slow progression and doesn't have like 20 control buttons. I don't mind the size. sorry for bad english

    Best low-budget gaming phone?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 10:02 PM PST

I currently have a Samsung A11 and it constantly struggles to play most games. I know that there are a bunch of budget-friendly Androids out there, but wanted to know which of those excel at gaming. I would like to stay around the $300 range, hopefully I can find something decent for that price. I'm not expecting top-of-the-line performance by any means, just something that can at least achieve a stable 30FPS on some of the more demanding games out there. I'm currently playing a bunch of 'League of Legends: Wild Rift' and it's becoming more difficult to keep up as the game becomes more competitive at higher ranks. My phone is the only thing I have to game on at the moment and the bad performance of my A11 really deters me from playing the games I like. Hopefully there's something on the market that meets my current buying power. I'm fine with more expensive options as well, I'm just not in a place to drop a grand on a new phone right now.

    Super Hexagon was updated (beta)

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 07:16 AM PST

Received an email from Terry Cavana this morning. He updated the beta branch of the game and now it's working perfectly on Android 11! 🎉

As I already owned the game, all I did was join the beta on the Play Store page. I think you still can't buy it, as couldn't find it when I searched for it.

Does loosing a level turn you off? Or does it motivate you to do better next try?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 09:15 AM PST

I'm developing a game that I try to be somewhat harder than your average mobile game. But I try to allways keep things fair and relevant, you should ONLY loose beacuse you did something wrong, not beacuse you lacked the numbers/stats etc.

Whats your take on defeats when playing games on the phone?

Any game that doesn't feel like a cheap smartphone game?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 08:45 AM PST

I've been playing Pokemon Go for over a couple years now...

I just got a Galalxy Note 20 Ultra and since the screen is pretty large, I wanted to find other good games to play on it.

I don't mind paying a little if it's worth it. Any rpg or addictive game! Thanks

    Need help finding a game

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 01:46 AM PST

I remember playing the game 2 years ago. You basically play as a warrior the graphics is basically black and white with some dark shading. Theres also events happening in it, it kind of depends on whatever you choose, and you'll also be given a choice what perks you want at the start of game. also you can also choose your religion whether pagan or christian.

For context I use to love playing CoC, Simpsons tapped out, Marvel Strike Force & Contest of Champions, YGO Duel Links, Stardew Valley, Farmville etc

    TIA!

    Controller for Rocket League Sideswipe

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 12:31 PM PST

With sideswipe out and myself addicted like regular rocket league, I find myself wanting a controller really badly. I was wanting a collapsible one "like a switch". Just controls on each side of the device.

I found a couple old threads but the products are all discontinued. Whats everyone else using these days?

(request) my elderly relative loves games and apps like Bubble Shooter, Blockpuz and coloring mandalas. Her english isn't the best. Which are some good android games or apps that you think might appeal to her?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2021 09:42 AM PST

The games don't have to be exact copies of these games. Similar or better or something that you might think would fit for someone who likes those games and doesn't speak much english.

I don't know much about android gaming but I'm sure that there are games that are much higher quality than others. She really likes Bubble Shooter, Blockpuz and coloring mandalas.
