Simple pixel game ala Flappy Bird?

    Posted: 23 Dec 2021 12:18 AM PST

Anyone knows a simple pixel game ala Flappy Bird to banish anxieties? Not something that needs long-term focus, just something to occupy the nerves.

Can you play a randomised, pkhex'd Pokemon rom on an android ds emulator?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 04:09 AM PST

My friend and I want to do a randomised gen 4 soul link Nuzlocke with 10000 rare candies to skip all grinding. I know how to do it (I think) and have no reason to believe it wouldn't work but I just want to be sure before I buy Drastic.

[REQUEST] Relaxed-pace game with in-depth gameplay to fill the MtG:A void

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 03:00 PM PST

Single/Multiplayer: Either, but no team-based gameplay

Genre: Preferably strategy, but open to others

    Online/Offline: Either

Monetization/Cost: Up to $10, but no continuous expenses to keep up

    Portrait/Landscape: Either, portrait preferred

Key Features: Nothing that requires fast response times or fine motor control. Must be either easily paused or left idle for a couple minutes without losing significant progress (game concessions in multiplayer okay).

Any additional info/details/similar games: I was enjoying Magic Arena, but recent changes have made me stop wanting to play it. Something with similar pacing to that would be good, but other online card games like Hearthstone and Runeterra haven't been nearly as fun to play. UnCiv is also great but I had already played Civ V for hundreds of hours so I'm looking for something new.

A game with satisfying progression that makes you want to grind not out of obligation like "Linear Quest"?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 06:49 AM PST

I had a lot of fun playing that game, was absolutely devastated when the multiplaper was gone.

So I'm looking for similar games to it, the following are the following requests I'd like to see(optional) on the game recommendations:

-no energy system that limits play time (some is tolerable)

    -grinding is rewarding/satisfying

-p2w f2p gap not huge (doesn't matter if game is pve heavy)

-pve is greatly preferred over pvp, multiplayer pve even better

    -minimal ram usage (2gb ram)

-mmo like? idk how to explain it

-active community (nice community is preferable)

    Games I've played and enjoyed:

-Terraria, mindustry, Epic conquest, Dungeon quest

    TOMT 3d/EagleEye Island Survival/Resource builder

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 04:58 PM PST

I hope this is within the rules as a Help/TOMT that is Android-specific.

I am trying to find a game from a few years back that for some reason I think was made by the BBC? That has to be wrong, but it's stuck in my head that way.

Field of play was an island. Villagers could fish, gather resources, bake bread, collect water & wood, raise buildings, etc. It was not what I would call isometric although the POV was from above. The usable spaces on the ground were not strictly rectilinearly organized - structure placments were more fit-where-you-can. The rendering was with 3d shaded objects, not pixelsprites. The gameplay was of the type where tasks of varying durations would be assigned to villagers & then the results collected. I seem to recall that there was a day/night cycle as well, though I wouldn't swear to it.

I keep wanting to call it "Humans", but after scrolling through a pagepocalypse of results for combinations of "humans resource farming android game", here I am.

    Thanks for any help!

Puzzle/Progression/RPG-style games good for playing an hour or two a day

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 12:14 AM PST

I'll soon be travelling a couple hours a day for work and I'm looking for games to play whilst on the train.

I've recently been playing Legends of Idleon however have gotten burnt out with that game, but did enjoy the grind and progression. I also play Teamfight Tactics, Chess, Sudoku, and Atomas, so I'm looking for recommendations on new games to play, either puzzle-focused or RPG/story driven.

Any other games like Three Kingdoms Tactics or Travian and Tribal Wars?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 06:31 AM PST

I'm looking for games that are similar to those games.

All of them are online multiplayer games that have city building simulation, where you queue up a build queue to construct "buildings" or buying "military unit".

There are some strategy or tactic elements where you buy up an army using ingame currency to defend your town or to send them off for attacking / raiding which costs a certain amount of time.

Each player occupies a certain part of land on the world map and the map is used to simulate a turf war, with the distance between each player's town used to calculate travel time.

I don't know what's the proper genre for such games and the ones I know are mostly dead so I'm asking for some more recommendations.

Already playing Clash of Clans and TKTactics.

ARPG, MMORPG preferably. (story driven quest)

    Posted: 22 Dec 2021 01:28 PM PST

I would like anyone to recommend me their favourite ARPG/MMORPG. I personally really enjoyed vampire's fall origins, as it has one of the best if not the best story out of all the rpg I've played in my life, and I would like something that have that solid story foundation.
