Android Nintendo Switch emulator "Skyline" renders its first commercial game! Posted: 29 Dec 2021 06:16 PM PST Sonic Mania - Starting Screen with on-screen controls On the 29th of December, Skyline rendered its first commercial game Sonic Mania. Using several temporary hacks, this particular game can now be played on a currently private development build. Once the hacks are no longer required and things are properly implemented, the build will be able to be found on the Skyline Github. Screenshots:The very first screenshot shared, a doubling issue is visible A quick hack was added to fix the issue FPS values are not representative of final performance due to many hacks and unfinished things Other games are very unlikely to work. You can get the old Google emojis back with Gboard's Emoji Kitchen! Posted: 28 Dec 2021 09:10 AM PST So I don't know if people know this already, but I was messing with emoji kitchen until I found out that you can combine the sparkle emoji (✨) with another emoji to get the old Google version of it!! It's awesome! My favorites are the ghost and fire emojis [link] [comments]

Discussion: What's your opinion on folders in app drawers? Posted: 28 Dec 2021 11:05 PM PST I understand the main intention of the android app drawer is to have all of your apps in one place arranged in an alphabetical order and shortcuts of the most used ones on the home screen. But with the increasing number of apps for everyday use, IMO folders in the app drawer is a good way to declutter the experience. Samsung does this and Android launchers such as Smart Launcher 5, Nova launcher, microsoft launcher etc does this. Even Apple does something similar with the app library, I think. If you like no folders in app drawers, that's good. No problem. I just think the option to have folders would be nice, since that is one of the core pillars of Android: Options. Posted: 28 Dec 2021 08:08 PM PST I'm running Android 12 on a Google pixel, so I'm not sure if this is strictly Android or Google but, when you move the brightness bar it changes along with it. At the lowest the center is empty, at middle it's half, and close to full it's full. Just a cute little feature I kept noticing, idk if it's a known thing. [link] [comments]
