Frame by Frame slow motion possible? Posted: 19 Oct 2021 05:47 AM PDT I miss the frame by frame slow motion capability of TiVo. Are there any hacks that can get it for me on my Sony Bravia with Google TV? [link] [comments]
Google TV remote with Android TV Posted: 19 Oct 2021 07:49 AM PDT Hi, does the new Google TV remote work with Android TV 9? On the website it says it requires Chromecast with Google TV, but maybe someone already tried it. Posted: 18 Oct 2021 05:05 PM PDT So i bought the 55R646 with google tv OS and plugged in my own Chromecast with google TV into HDMI 1 (ARC) but unable to get the CC remote working via CEC to power on/off the TV. Tried all different possible codes that the setup provides (7 attempts) Both the TV and CC have latest firmware. I have CEC enabled on the TV and Auto CEC set on the CC remote. Anyone has the same issue? Or do I have a bad unit? TIA! [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Oct 2021 05:28 AM PDT It is the worse operating system! It's slow, unresponsive and shuts down constantly! There are much better television, with much better systems. If your in the market for a new tv, stay far away from anything with Android in it. I purchased my cause I had a chrome cast and it was great! Android TVs will not allow anything but an android phone to cast to it. Get something else! [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Oct 2021 03:29 PM PDT I have been looking around, and I really feel like I'm being this obsessed obscure media nerd again that has about 15+ years of old TV and anime series on their pc But seeing how Samsung tizen tv's are absolutely horribad with decoding anything; I'm kind of eyeing other options, but... Besides looking at mi TV boxes, that have no ethernet ports, Nokia boxes that have stupid flaws, and chinesium boxes that have dodgy specs, I'm kind of at a loss.. As all I really want is just to be able to stream my obscure/old af TV stuff in xvid and ogg, and others, and not deal with having to jump trough my current setup anymore, where I'm using a dlna to chromecast app, and then stream it to the chromecast, as I really seem to be missing a beat (or more) to make it easier.. Help with Bluetooth controller and Android TV. Posted: 18 Oct 2021 11:44 AM PDT Hi. I'm probably missing something really obvious here but here goes. I have a 3rd party switch controller, and when I connect it via Bluetooth to my android phone it works fine. But when I connect it to my android tv, it shows as connected but none of the inputs register. It's really frustrating me now. I wondered if it might be because the remote for the TV is also connected via Bluetooth and that might be causing a conflict? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]

Possible to install android TV software on a smartphone? Posted: 18 Oct 2021 09:15 AM PDT I am thinking about following this guide on a projector. His setup is basically a supercharged shoebox projector, but he used stock android on the phone. Is it possible to install android TV on a smartphone? In that case, where do I get an image?
