Only problem is I can't flash TWRP because ODIN mode is still in secure mode, which I believe is because the bootloader is still locked. Is there a way to unlock the bootloader? [link] [comments] |

I kept deleting apps but somehow problem persisted. I factory resteted it, installed only basic apps. I had 6 gb left 2 weeks ago. Now i have 1 gb left and i installed nothing and have taken 2 pics. The problem is that i can't use those apps on my new phone because I need that specific token. Any help? I already tried Google, but i think I do things wrong. In my player files manager etc I know that it is the media files on Android folder but when I delete it it comes again. | Rare Issue: Alarm doesn't go off despite setting one up; No missed notification! Posted: 09 Sep 2021 09:09 AM PDT So I just missed a morning lecture a few hours ago even though I set up an alarm! There wasn't a notification that I even missed it which is kinda annoying. To add to this, in the past there were a few times I was late to work and missed lectures, like it wasn't a huge problem since this occurence was extremely rare but I'm still curious to why this happens in the first place. Every time I set my phone to ring, it sets it to be so low that I can't even hear it and I have to manually slide it up every time. Thank you! The phone has only the basic apps like calculator, camera, gallery etc. but it lacks google apps. Even the settings aren't complete. I was looking to flash it but it wont connect to the pc. | Posted: 09 Sep 2021 02:25 AM PDT I tried installing a custom rom (both corvus os and pixel experience) on my redmi note 4 (snapdragon version) and I'm running into a problem with both roms. I first installed twrp on my device and then formatted data but my phone would bootloop when I tried to reboot it. I read in an article that I should flash the zip : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=17248734326145713881 and I did it and it worked, I came back to the miui setup. after completing the setup I went back to the twrp recovery and wiped dalvik, cache, data, vendor and system (as stated by the guide). after that I flashed my custom rom and clicked on reboot. It asked me if I was sure I wanted to reboot because there was no os. I clicked reboot and the mi logo and then the corvus logo showed but it went into a boot loop.I went back to the recovery and wiped dalvik and cache. Now the phone did boot up and loaded up till the setup but in the middle of the setup it would just close and boot up again, back to the beginning of the setup. I tried going back to the stock rom and trying with different custom roms but I'm facing this issue everywhere. Is there any fix for this? I can go back to the stock rom any time with the mi recovery tool [link] [comments] |

| Issue with Vpn bypassing in secure/work folder profile Posted: 09 Sep 2021 08:12 AM PDT i have tried researching this issue online but havent found a singlething. i have vpn inside and outside of work profile. the vpn inside ofwork profile is set to "always on" and "block connections without vpn." this works correctly when vpn is off, any app i open that uses internet,it says not connected or no internet. but somehow live pushnotifications for any app still come in as if there was internet.clicking them opens the app with blank screen and no internet/notconnected message. ive tried different vpn providers and vpn config filewith the official openvpn app. how is this possible for onlynotifications to come in if vpn is off, block connections is enabled and the app itself when clicking the notification says theres no internet? I've checked all the basics (apks, permissions, etc) only thing not normal is my camera has been in use 24/7 for weeks now. Last week I noticed that my screen around my front camera changed as well and is rectangular now rather than the normal circle. I know its not normal because it cuts off parts of my notification icons. My phones been using battery life crazy fast, getting hot and running super slow as well, can anyone give me some advice or help me figure out what's going on?
