Looking for suggestions about Android games with mouse and keyboard support?

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 11:43 AM PDT

I'm going to turn my Android phone from 2 or 3 gens back into a portable PC. I play emulators on it, but I'm also hoping to find good mobile games as well. With this transition into a portable PC I'm going to be using a keyboard and mouse. So I need Android games that support keyboard and mouse.

    Thank you very much!

    Ghost Recon-like Games?

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 10:28 AM PDT

Any recommendations for mil-simmy games akin to the original ghost recon?

Short of using an emulator I haven't had much luck finding anything of the sort.

    Thanks :)

Looking for a specific game I cant remember the name of, or something similar

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 09:17 AM PDT

It may not be on android, and the description im about to give can probably fit a bunch of different games so please seggest what comes to mind.

I had it before my iphone broke and got an android,

It was a 3d style game that was an auto battler. It was alot better than any auto battlers I can find. You had champions, legends, or heroes whatever you want to call them - and they were a combination of elements.

Each had active and passive skills, and tier grades like alot of games have, and when you went to battle they would fight automatically. But the way they did it was cinematically pleasing. You could camera free roam, and watch them fight the other team and work together. It was pretty satasfying and cool.

I think the setting was your typical fantasy - other than that I cant remember much about it. I think there was also upgradable buildings, and ability to summon and evolve like your typical game like this.

Sorry this description is so vague, but if you manage to find it ill love you forever and shower you in rewards

    [DEV] Hamsters Don't Swim!

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 03:25 AM PDT

Hey! A friend of mine owns a prestigious videogame company and he just dropped a new mobile game! It's a totally original concept and safe for all ages. It even tested better than Candy Crush at MIT! (for non-USA Redditors that's Michigan Institute of Technology, one of the best colleges in the Country.) If you're into light mobile gaming/logic puzzles, this is a must-have. Give it a shot!

    Download now on Google Play!

And you're definitely in the wrong subreddit, but for those of you who use Apple:

    Download now on iOS!

[DEV] A little thing I made years back

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 01:45 AM PDT

Hearing all about the Win11 Amazon AppStore integration made me remember about a piece of shit I made 6 years back :

    https://www.amazon.com/Wasabi-Digital-Spice-Stick-Story/dp/B00Y5EL8KI

It's a Ren'Py game, I also used to dabble in Unity, GoDot, GameMaker, general modding, etc. Amazon says there are IAPs. There are no IAPs but I had no idea how to remove that. By default Ren'Py just plugged in an IAP api I guess.

I didn't even have the $25 bucks for PlayStore back then so it was uploaded to Amazon AppStore.

P.s. You might not believe it, but my app is why the Amazon AppStore bombed. If any Apple spies see this and want to sabotage PlayStore, ẙ̶̩̟̩̥̣͊̉̕ͅo̷̥͈̻̺̠͆́̌̈́̒̎̚u̶̡̹͉͇̠͖̜̲̤͇̗̬̙̹̪͐̓̌͂̽̅͐͗͘͝ ̸̢̠̰̜̱͎̳̻̩̏͜k̶̛̲̟͊͂̌̿̈́̎̂͝͝ͅn̴̨̬̙̩͓̂̌̈́͠o̴̧̝̱̙̠͍̤͚̹̲̐́̀͂̽͆̐̄͜͠ͅw̸̲̟͉͔̤͉͋͒̈̚͠ ̷͇̞̭̮̺̫̒̈́͐͌͒͆͌͌̈́̑ẃ̴̛̳̙͍̥̰̰̥̜͈̈́͐̐̓̈́͑̚͜ḩ̷̣̰̯̲̦͇̍̊̈́́a̶̛̖̗̘̎̓̓̄͆̿̾̓̾t̶͍̰̦͓̱̙̩̓͊͛ ̶̤͙͇̞͇̏͐̇̕͝m̸̹͂̈́̂̿͊̀̾͂̏͠ų̵̢̣̬͍̜̬̻̪̠̪͒́̆̈́̿̒s̵̨̱̮̏́͝t̷̘̞̫̮̹̗͕̹͕͈̩̝̺̔̅̾̍́̅̑̾̇̕̕ ̷̛̦͖͕̮̏͌͐́̈͑͋͛b̸̢͕͇͎̖͖͉͈͚͂̉̋͛̿̌͌͒̔͛̿ȇ̵̗̫̗͍̰̤͉͚ ̸̛͉̲͔̤͍̺͔̠̲͕̹͕̱̓̅͛̀̋͒͋̅͜͜d̷̨̰̰̳͓̠̺̼̭̓͋́͂̈́o̸̧̢͎̩̣͉̲͍͍̹͍̬͇̩͆͗̏͘ṅ̴̡̨̢̧̪̻͓͉̫̰̖̤͙͒͌̿̌͛͊̆̍̀̽̀̉͘ë̸̡̛̲͙͖̝̯͙͈͓́͊̀̆͌̈́͛͋̄́̚

    Need help identifying a game

    Posted: 24 Sep 2021 11:36 PM PDT

I'm trying to remember I used to play but never finished on android. Its a choose your own adventure game similar to Sorcery! On the play store. It was one of those games where you read the story then picked what to do at the bottom like it was dnd. From what I can remember you start off by unknowingly walking towards an old castle thats fill with goblin, and at one point in there you're next to a hole in the wall and you see an eye at the other end of it. At the end of the first big chapter you become framed from something. Does any of this sound familiar?

Help finding game I used to play?

    Posted: 25 Sep 2021 02:41 AM PDT

It was an anime card/tower defense game. You would collect characters in the form of cards, and play tower defense like gameplay with them. It was very pay to win, had events, rating for cards was in stars. I remember there was a card named Sergei, and another card was some guy in black with wings and a sword.

[DEV] Tiny puzzle roguelike made in a couple of days (free and no ads)

    Hi! First time posting here!
I usually make tiny free games (developed in just a few days) and upload them to itch.io.

I was curious to see if it'd make sense to release some of them on Android (takes a bit of extra effort both during development and the store stuff). So I put my last game, Through The Dalia, on Google Play. If you don't feel like downloading it, there's also an html5 build that will work on both your PC and mobile (though native is always better).

Like most of the games I make, this isn't turning into a bigger game. I might upload a few patches to fix bugs or tweak things (it already got a few updates) but the game won't be getting bigger, it's just a small thing.

And that's all! The game can be a bit frustrating at times (due to its randomness) but I hope you enjoy it!
