[HELP/ADVICE] - Selling my game to a company Posted: 08 Sep 2021 12:50 PM PDT So last year in university I had this project that I had to develop a game, I gave my best got a good grade but I thought nothing of it. Recently on my business email I got a message from this company. First thing I did was looked for them on LinkedIn and other sources that to my surprise they seem to be legit, I already traded a few emails with them, agreed to the value they offered and knowing this might be a scam told them that I would only agree to sell if they send the money first, they say yes. But now they want to add me on a WhatsApp group where he (the one I'm talking on email) will add the analyst and the chief of sales department to evaluate my game metrics. Is this normal? I'm always careful in giving my phone, personal address or anything to people I don't know. So I might be just be freaking out here, but just to be sure from people that sold their app/game/program etc would like to know your experience and what should I be careful about Thanks! Choose Your Own Adventure (DnD) Posted: 08 Sep 2021 11:34 AM PDT I started listening to Dungeons and Daddies, which is a great podcast, and I am wondering if there are any games that are simular. That being a choose your own adventure game where you have to roll for actions and what not. Anything like this on the play store that someone could recommend? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Sep 2021 06:47 AM PDT i've been playing a lot of different idle games from cookie clicker over adventure communist to legends of idlelon but no game really found the sweet spot between work you CAN do to progress and just being idle. I also really like the concept of a Jump and run combined with idle elements but i cant manage to find a game of that quality. [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] Please recommend me a platformer Posted: 08 Sep 2021 08:06 AM PDT I try out Apple Knight for a second, and it's extremely floaty, and I find it's focused less on platforming and more on combat I could easily see become bulletspongey (er…apple/slash-spongey) if I keep playing. I try out catbird and it also is extremely floaty and not challenging at all. I try out the Sonic game ports. Fantastic ports, I'd say. If only the actual game they were porting were the same. At least they feel like actual games, at least. I try out Dadish. This is actually a respectably made game. But it appears that the challenge appears to come moreso keeping your eye on multiple things and juggling them rather than precise timing and stuff. Not exactly my cup of tea. Blu escape is actually really fun in my opinion, but I beat that already a number of times. I just want a good platformer where after jumping I don't feel like a feather floating down to the ground, that is actually challenging (emphasizing timing and all that) and that is actually a platformer. That so much to ask? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Sep 2021 04:00 AM PDT Galaxy S8 Android version 9 This trick used to work perfectly fine back on my S5 just a year ago!! Why doesn't this work anymore? I've turned off my Wifi, my Location, etc., yet I still have terrible DS4 input lag all over again. What happened?! [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Sep 2021 04:20 PM PDT I know, I am pushing my luck on that one. But I am looking for a free to play or one time purchase CCG that is not p2w. I know there is a lot of CCG playable in free to play with LOTS of grinding, but that's not what I want. Can also be single player! Don't care about online gaming that much.

Otherworld Heroes - GPS location based RPG Posted: 07 Sep 2021 02:37 PM PDT Maybe it's because I had so much fun back in the Ingress days, but I'm always trying to find that next GPS based game that scratches the itch. I've had tons of fun with PoGo, Jurassic World, Harry Potter and Orna, but just trying out the new GPS games has become something of a hobby in itself. I stumbled across Otherworld Heroes the other night and it's been pretty cool so far. Anyone else tried it? I've been sick recently, so I've been indoors and haven't been able to test drive it in the real world, but I can definitely see some potential in it. And with the spawn rates there has been plenty to grind on while just stuck in my room. It was released in July and was updated just a few days ago. Typical RPG character classes.... Warrior/hunter/mage... And you attack enemies in the open world. It claims to try to act like an MMO in its open-world combat, and compared to many other games I think it's headed in the right direction. There is a once per day free 5 minute roaming mode so you can wander without physical movement. There are apparently raids, but I haven't played with any other players and my level isn't high enough to unlock them yet. The game is a bit buggy in its current state, but it seems like they've been improving it a lot, as the newer reviews are mostly positive and a lot of the bad ones are "how do I move?" type questions. Monetization is definitely present but how much it impacts the game has yet to be seen. Anyway, check it out if you're into that sort of stuff. I'm going to keep at it for a bit and hopefully get my wife into it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bublar.mercury [link] [comments]
Mantis pro, Samsung Note 8 + ipega 9023 + genshin impact = no overlay Posted: 07 Sep 2021 04:19 PM PDT Topic, I can't trigger mantis overlay when i launch genshin impact on my note 8. Any idea why? Both gamepad and mantis are connected, usb debugging allowed. Game also already in mantis list. i have also enabled multi window in settings > advanced features but it makes no difference. I test it with other apps like whatsapp and the popup window still works properly. Edit well this is strange, even panda wont work. I forgot to mention, i'm using genshin from galaxystore cause the one in playstore lags. Could that be the cause? [link] [comments] |
